She is wishy-washy. However she is the inspiration for this piece. She is what I converted away from, as the subject of this story. The last time I saw her, we talked for four hours. The second question would be more explicit, which one? And especially in reference to the nineteen and a half years I have to live - give or take.
I got 'Limitation' changing to 'Kun' or earth over earth, the second hexagram as the receptive or feminine, in contrast to the 'Creative' as the masculine. The problem here - does it mean the one I choose, or the course I should take? Three nines or changing lines all concerning restriction. It is only by restriction that I get this work done, so I have no problem with that. But the Kun - is that me or is that her? If restriction is involved, I determine that it must be me, for Miss Macho restricts.
I must say that the original paintings were mostly created in Santa Rosa. Some I did at Powers Street, but in what order they were all painted, I have no idea. So the paintings do not correlate as any time-line or to the events of this period. I am writing in retrospective and adding a lot from the distance of greater understanding. I would not have written then what I write now. Everything, to the best of my remembrance is true, although the order of the occurrence of things is not proper, due to my lack of time context. I do not write fiction. I have no need to. I have enough material. I have only written a third of my life so far. I have not the time to make it up.
