The government as a collective is more powerful than are individuals and yet singular individuals, clans, corporations, cartels and syndicates continuously subvert governments the world over. This is because individual capitalists and associate affiliations accumulate immense fortunes which they use to buy, bribe, threaten, blackmail, murder or just because many government socialists succumb to greed and Progressive elitism.

Media

Privately owned and capitalist corporate media generally are anti-socialist. They find propaganda to be a perfectly legitimate means to fight what they call evil, specifically communism and socialism. They are naturally opposed to communism as is all capitalism, because it would nationalize or governmentalize their property. And they are not smart enough to realize there is a difference between communism and socialism. Media because of the limitations of transmission frequency band-width is generally government controlled granting band-width spectrum licences. In America all licences are granted to capitalists except for colleges and universities, many of which have their own media stations, and one national media outlet called National Public Media. And they have their overseas propaganda media like Radio Free Europe or Radio Liberty, and one might notice operations with the titles 'free or liberty' will be propaganda.

People believe what they want to believe. Generally they believe what supports their economic means and where-with-all. People will believe what the mass majority believes. If they-all believe - it must be true. Most at one-time believed that the earth was flat, and that the sun and universe revolved around the earth. Even today the mass majority believe in the big-bang, dark matter, black holes and progressive species evolution, though there is no evidence even of any kind. Evidence free fact is called Authority Reasoning. If the authority says it - it must be true like the Bible.
