Government as Socialism following in the blueprint of the Whole is Conservative. This means Government is a more or less fixed entity, the purpose to produce the best environment conducive to all its citizens, as its Product a stable state. Thus, Socialism is about maintenance and the preservation of itself in a same or similar form as does the natural world.

Capitalism is Progressive, meaning the accumulation of property and increasing standards of living, by exploitation mainly of the natural world, considered as materialistic and of no inherent Consequence in and of itself. Progress is transformation and destruction of existent entities, to be replaced by the new and improved, regardless of the effects upon the greater Whole for private profit.

Amalgamism

In the interest of proposing alternatives to the inevitable dissolution of the current manifestation of things, as an exercise in something to do, it would be proposed a system called Arcadia. And thus the question would be, of what would be public and what would be private. Amalgamism would be a combination of Socialism and Capitalism. The Government should own and regulate what is common to and essential to-all, as what everyone uses in common such as money, banks, insurance, water and sewer, road and waterways, electricity, fuel, medicine, internet, radio and television, internet, parks, museums, libraries, police and fire, public safety for instance. The Government would own and regulate everything public as necessary to All.

In the Arcadian system, there would definitely be a division between Socialists and Capitalists. Socialist jobs would be more or less guaranteed since the Government is relatively stable. Capitalism would create x number of jobs based upon some necessity, but more-so on consumption. Arcadia would recognize the fixed nature of the natural world as Conservative. Capitalism is naturally Progressive, thus there is always this tension between the two.

Capitalism would provide whatever Government does not, wherein a market exists and wherein negative effects upon the Whole are none to minimal. Actually, all private property would be produced by Capitalists as well as maintained. Housing, food, clothes, private transportation, stores and restaurants, factories, builders, laundries, cafes, nightclubs, bars are a for instance.
