Should elections be allowed to interfere with Government operation ? Should elections of a mayor and possibly supervisors be allowed to change Government policies, to choose who, how, why and where Government acts? The military is Government. The military has no elections. It is run by the book, such as army regulations. It is true they sometimes change procedures such as who can belong. But the point is Government can be run by the book. Why is there a need to name public streets or public financed projects and buildings after private individuals, many times crooks?

Capitalist Democracy is wherein Capitalists fund candidates, and Capitalists promote candidates through the media they own. Because Capitalist Democracy requires so much money, parties are formed as group efforts, to raise money and promote particular agendas. Candidates can raise money from the general population or from rich Capitalists. Since Capitalists have the most money which is necessary for candidates to get elected, the candidates are more likely to represent monied interests, as opposed to the general population. Capitalistic democracy is democratic only by accident.

And what do they elect, but a head of country, state, county, city or town, and some representatives, occasionally judges, district attorneys, sheriffs and dogcatchers, all of whom are capable of raising the most money, and which is their only true cause. And with electronic voting, no one can be sure that the vote counts are accurate. But mainly, it doesn't matter, because only the rich are represented, whether an honest vote count or not. If someone other, is to slip in by accident, like say oh a Trump, the knives come out, and everything possible is done to destroy that mishap.

Of Socialist Democracy, Government would fund candidates from all the people as a portion of their taxes. Media must be free to candidates. But the question would be, what offices would they be running for? And what would be the structure of the system?
