Now we got a Russian specialist Robert Gates, no doubt an agent of the 'Military Industrial Complex', who may have 'stovepiped' or fixed intelligence to promote cold war arms buildups, as
now the head of the Pentagon. So just in the realm of entertaining speculation why not figure the empire push and propaganda agenda will be redirected at Russia and specifically Putin. Of course there is an ongoing war there anyway — just a matter of scope.
11/04/06 Why Colin Powel had
so much credibility and was considered so highly by ordinary Americans left and right — have no idea unless what is admired is the military industrial death machine. But without Powel's speech to the UN, the war with Iraq was not such a sure thing. Given that the media would push for it with all their might, but still most people were skeptical, especially since this Saddam threat appeared out of nowhere overnight. People thought, well if such a threat — how come I am just
now hearing about it? So it was Colin Powel that sold the war, and after that speech, one could conclude there is no stopping it now. Why would he do such a thing. Why would he take all that credibility and all that respect, honor and dignity not only for himself but for his family and throw it away, dishonor himself and his family for generations to come? Who knows — but
in Japan there has historically been a tradition of Seppuku, where such a man having shamed himself and his family to such a degree, commits suicide as a matter of
honor — a concept (honor) not ever heard of in America. One would hope he has profited greatly for selling America on one of the greatest catastrophes in history, for something Americans do understand — money.
12/01/06 So now a whole new theory of Middle East Politics, the axis of evil 'US, Britain and Israel' against the Muslims, when it was thought all was lost. Yes — brilliant. The object
here to create a confederation of majority Sunni nations, where Sunnis are 85% of all Muslims, in an alliance against the Shias only 15% of all Muslims,
and where mostly concentrated in, oh yes — Iran,
and which includes, oh conveniently Hezbollah and Hamas. The idea here to try to bring in Sria, about 80% Sunni but controlled by Shias, and check this out — Israel, guessing this whole strategy is all about
Israel and of course empire oil, since most Arab states
are Sunni dominated governments, and since they are essentially US client colonial states, like Saudi Arabia and Egypt. This would mean the US must side with the
Sunnis in Iraq again (Saddam Hussein), a new military push to destroy the Shia, a minority Sunni dictatorship, and of course it would involve the cooperation of Israel, which would have to reach some kind of
accommodation with the Palestinians. This of course would be a 'save the empire' Middle East strategy,
which would seem to be pretty far fetched. Have to
give them an A for creativity. The battle for Baghdad
might tell.

going to get a half billion dollar presidential library — to enshrine the three books, no doubt he has ever read in his life. Bush library — now there is an oxymoron. Actually the full details have not been revealed yet. It is going to be a library complex theme park. The library is going to be an exact replica of the American Embassy in Baghdad, which is really an old Saddam Hussein palace. Surrounding this will be an
exact replica of the Baghdad Green Zone, including
all fortifications. No one will be allowed in except registered Republicans of course. And what will be
the real purpose of this oxymoron? Not to house the anathema of the philistine's life — the printed
word, but rather all his presidential papers, that
will be locked up and guarded from the many assaults
and sieges of the barbarians at the gate — the war crimes tribunals investigators that will be attempting to sack the sanctuary.
11/27/06 Lebanon had gotten pretty much back to normal after the Israel invasion of 1982, to exterminate the PLO, the destabilization and the following civil war. So now in 2006 Israel has destroyed Lebanon again, this time to eliminate Hezbollah. And now there is talk of another civil war after the assassination of Christian leader Pierre Gemayel. So just as Hezbollah was flexing its muscle
and becoming a major, and perhaps even the dominant player in Lebanon, after Israel's failure to route them, another Christian is assassinated — blamed on Syria an ally of Hezbollah, and perhaps a new civil war can get kicked off. That should keep Hezbollah tamed for awhile. And if it is a little bit more difficult to get
only Muslims fighting with each other — well anger the Christians, who were a key ingredient in the last civil war.

attack on Iran and that's Israel. Hell — they say so everyday. We know who wants the US to stay in Iraq — Israel of course. Bush now says he would understand an Israeli attack on Iran. Bush capable of understanding — now that's shock and awe. Everyone but the Israelis, who apparently could care less, knows that an attack on Iran would be crazy. If Bush attacks Iran they will have to build a military base around his ranch, to protect him not from foreigners, but from his own country folk, which may be true whether he does attack or not. Of what interest would it be for the US to attack Iran? Absolutely none — accept if we go with the theory that to prop up the US dollar, they will need to control all Middle East oil. Other than that, it would seem to come down to Israel wants it. Thus it might be assumed that whoever advocates war with Iran
is a shill for Israel, whether they know it or not.

is so labyrinthine that it is almost impossible to say anything about anything. But honing in on one conjecture as pure supposition for the fun of it, who does the assassination of Lebanese Minister Pierre Gemayel
benefit in terms of the Big Game? The Baker Commission, it is said was considering bringing in the Syrians to help the US out of Iraq. Not so likely since it is now
a US media universal truth, that it was Syria that
assassinated Gemayel — because of the absolute and irrefutable proof that he was anti-Syrian; the same as Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko was poisoned in London because he was anti-Vladimir Putin. So who might be most against any US agreements with Syria? Must be Israel,
because they are against any deals that might involve their having to return the Golan Heights, which they will never ever do. And would Dick Cheney and his NeoCon PNAC nest have only one ally left, in the grand scheme to control the world's energy, and remake the Middle East, but that of Israel. in Washington the other day ... 'stating that American presence in Iraq has strategic importance to Israel and that US withdrawal would be significant and must be taken into account.' Anti-Semitism — how about the orchestrated incessant hate mongering of the Israelis, calling everyday for the bombing of Iran. What country has Iran bombed the hell out of lately? Got to figure that the Israelis want the US to stay in Iraq. So what is the solution to the quagmire? Simplified: do what the US people want and get out of Iraq leaving the possibility of Shia Iraq/Iran hegemony. Do it the empire way and install a pro-US Shia dictatorship blunting Iran's influence in Iraq. candidates to the detriment of peace candidates. Maybe it is not so much pro-war at all, but rather pro-Israel candidates. What's the difference? 'purported role in destabilizing Lebanon and Iraq, and supporting the radical Palestinian movement Hamas'. Obviously Condoleezza and her NeoCon cadre of confederates belong in a prison for the criminally insane. Did not Israel just bomb the hell of Lebanon destabilizing it for at least ten years. Is it not the US that invaded Iraq and destabilized it. No apparently it is Syria that is doing these things. This is obviously insanity. Or one could say no — it is

09/23/06 In the nature of pure
speculation — of the many beat-writers, Jack Kerouac was probably the greatest. Kerouac was so sincere,
tried so hard to find Nirvana, Satori, Enlightenment. Fame doesn't seem to have treated him well either. He was the most painfully shy person ever was, and compensated by getting drunk and obnoxious (Steve Allen TV interviews). But he never could do it, never could find it. Took to drinking himself to death and cursing the world. Probably didn't realize he was there all the time, when he was doing it, and writing those books. That was it — he just didn't get it. Thought it was
something else, some other place, something elevated, something far higher than his lowly self. And then if he had had realization, would he have done all that searching and wrote all that he did?

attack was conducted by Americans, then 98% of what
has been said and written about 9/11 is utter nonsense, almost all based on the government line, Al qaeda guilty 10 minutes after the attack, and conveniently Atta's passport, probably the only personal papers discovered in the tower's wreckage, was laying on a corner stone like the magic unflawed bullet, found on a gurney after the Kennedy Assassination. So if you have to write umpteen articles, maybe one to three a week, there is not much to say concerning any conspiracy, since not much can be proven. But one can write endlessly on the
war with Al qaeda and the war on terror, even though there is not much that can be proven there either, like even if Bin Laden is still alive. And of course once bought into this scenario, one will have to defend it

09/08/06 US Senate (Republican majority) has voted down a ban on US and foreign (Israeli) use of Cluster Bombs. Terrorists walk
into places like cafes strapped to a bomb, usually of explosives and some kind of pellets, and kill themselves and others in the process. Cluster bombs are thousands of smaller clusters, that get scattered around, containing the same thing as those terrorist bombs
— pellets. This gives the opportunity for children to pick them up or step on them and get maimed or killed. That's right the US Senate (Republican
majority) voted to support the maiming and killing of children. Normally they might find a big issue in this to bluster behind — 'we must stop this slaughter of innocent children'. Great campaign slogan. But alas, forget the US use in Afghanistan and Iraq — there might have been a fight on this. What they are really forbidden to forbid is Israel's use of them. Like the Senator in the Godfather movie that that is blackmailed into working for the mafia, these good senators will
vote for the maiming and slaughter of children, rather than vote against Israel. That's what you call political morality.

so stupid as to attack Iran or put Israel up to it
first and then join in — it will be for one reason and one reason only — the fall elections, the Sept/Oct surprise. If it is the only way they think they can stay in power, they may do it. 08/26/06 Most maybe can't understand why the NeoCons would want to attack Iran after the tragedies of Iraq and Afghanistan. Maybe it
is because they think they only need one win to win.
To them Iran is the root of all evil, having it is said, perhaps the 2nd largest supplies of oil and gas in the world. Thus having lost Iraq and Afghanistan will mean nothing, if Iran is incapacitated, because the Muslim Middle East would not be able to concentrate power in any one place, and Israel, US and Britain would be free to prop up their dictators, and keep control of much of middle east oil and pipelines. political voter terror begins. Britain just activated their terror alert color scheme. Course they had to use it in a mere two weeks. So now it looks like the Axis of Evil, as US, Brits & Israel will be working in conjunction on the terror election strategy. Of the dozens of US terrorist alerts, almost all in conjunction with elections, so far none have amounted to more than no smoke and lots of mirrors. They don't want trials,
so that it can't be shown the terror arrests are faked.
Course it shouldn't matter. Blair wants a 28 day hold
on the evidence necessary to charge this latest terror gang, before any evidence will need to be presented.

likes his torture. He's a lawyer and a 'brilliant, brilliant man', and so he can come up with the legal logic for torture. If a person knows where a dirty bomb is, and it is about to go off, so it is suspected, certainly torture is justified, comparing the one instance of torture next to the damage that may be caused by the dirty bomb. 06/05/06 Didn't know this was a tactic of US empire war, as pointed out by Mike Whitney. Course know it is progressive capitalism against conservative socialism. The US bombs only so much military infrastructure as is necessary to protect themselves, and then proceeds to bomb socialist government agencies out of existence, like water, sewage, electricity and energy in general, anything state-owned like industrial factories. That way
the the multi nationals can come in and buy up the country for ten cents on the dollar, like the carpetbaggers after US civil war and Germany after
world war I. Maybe part of the reason no infrastructure in Iraq. Maybe why it maybe was not an accident

Wen Ho Lee won his court case against the AP, NY and LA Times, Washington Post and ABC, who smeared him mercilessly with trumped up false charges, fed to them by Republican operatives in the Justice Department, kinda like a precursor run for the Iraq war. Today this goes on everyday, and the propaganda is so thick that these organs of journalistic integrity are losing readership faster than fleas off a dead dog. But back then it was the leading edge of the new Newt Gingrich politics. Use anyone for political advantage. Wen was Chinese. Double whammy — get Clinton, innuendo communist Chinese spies. If we

Of Ebbers — guilty, cooked books to 1 billion, got 25 years, Kozlowski — looted 600 million, got 8 to 25, Quattrone — got 18 months overturned, Rigas — looted 100 million got 15 years, Scrushy — not guilty: which adds to 1 billion 700 million for a total of 49 years 8 months. Time served by all defendants adds to so far: Kozlowski, in what looks to be a couple of months. Lay, Skilling and Fastow would guess — will serve as opposed to sentenced — no more than 7 years each, if they ever get to prison. Talk about murder charges now for marines in Iraq. No one who has ever murdered for the US empire and been prosecuted, has
ever got but a few years.

And then there is the 'One World Government' gang, afraid of UN helicopters and armies, like they could hold a candle to the US military, with a budget as large as the rest of the world combined. CNN, Fox and MSNBC carried every second of the news conference, because after all this is Israel, where the US congress, on the same day rushed to show their kiss-ass fidelity to Israel, by voting a cut in humanitarian aid to
Palestinian children. Israel also virtually controls any aspect of the major media it wishes as well in any given instance. If people think Bush is the world's greatest liar, then he has found his match in Olmert, the prime minster of Israel, who can match Bush lie for lie, and then outdo him by a long shot. What is this the Judeo-Christian ethic?
05/24/06 Fox news and that mentality don't much care for global warming, in that
it is not in their interest to believe it, and thus don't want anyone else to believe it either. Their constituency is the working classes of America and elsewhere. Now these classes, whether they will ever have a chance at true upward mobility or no, want to believe they do — even if it only just means a camp trailer, more motor bikes, and boats or giant trucks. Belief in Global Warming would mean less of everything for everyone, as the consumption of resources and the poisoning of the air, from especially what they love most, which is raging around on their machines, whether it is dirt bikes, seated lawn mowers, snow mobiles or jet skis. So naturally for Fox to keep their
advertising base, they need to keep the illusion of no global warming

a real criminal looks like, you don't need to watch America's Most Wanted. Just turn on the Sunday morning TV hawk shows. At least half the talking feds are some of the most humongous malefactors in the world. Last week we had Mexico, and this week's diversion should be a doozy — Israel week. There is going to be so much lying it will make Pinocchio look like Mother Teresa's grandmother. CNN will show itself to be the television subsidiary of Israel it is, as is the NY Times and Washington Post. And of course it will be beat up on Iran week. All because the alternate president of America will be here, Olmert of Israel, where some US congress people will be trampled to death in the rush
to kiss his ring. Criminals need to, and will everyday
in the media, point the finger at people who would expose them for the gangsters they are, and scream firebug, firebug to the rooftops, at the likes of Russia, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, China or any
country that does not allow these capitalist thugs

to 29, suddenly the border is all the rage. So how can
they bring their popularity up? So who can they use to scapegoat their disastrous unpopularity? Oh yea — why not illegal aliens. They don't vote. They are not popular, or organized or anybody even. And at the same time, make tons of tax payer money off of homeland border security contracts. Suddenly got to have troops. Suddenly got to spend billions. That's the great thing about the Right Wing. They can use and exploit anybody, anytime, anyplace for their own profit and needs, take the focus off their complete and total incompetence,
and the media will lap it all up like an alcoholic
would whiskey. This is why we have the elite, so they can exploit everyone less than themselves, who really don't count anyway.
05/17/06 First of all the Internet news and opinion writers are years ahead of their corporate counterparts. How long did it take this last to figure out that the Bush juggernaut had lied the US into war. Was it two or three years? Seems the more money they make the slower they are, and the least paid — the fastest. And even within the realm of the Internet, there seems a speed curve. First there is the most radical opinion doing things like Empire, Petrodollars, anything Israel or so called conspiracy theories, and all the more Internet mainstream are no where to be found, and won't touch it with a ten foot pole. Then usually a couple of months later, a few begin to sniff on the subject and then maybe some months later again, everyone is waking up to the fact, and feels they must get current, or perhaps rather that is safe to comment on it. Trouble is by then it has been done to death, in months previous by the radical early birds. How long will it take for the corporate tortoises to realize that NSA is listening to their communications
in search of sources? Probably after they are in jail.
05/14/06 A socially progressive environmentalist is a contradiction in terms. Social progress is anti-environmental, in not all but most cases. Nature is the original condition in which there is no excess and profit, and where change replenishes the natural condition in same or like manner. Social progressives are liberals, meaning they like to be associated with the good, where good is humanistic,
as more jobs, increased standards of living, greater universal opportunities, all of which is dependent upon more progress, more development, and if with an ever increasing population, ever more exploitation of nature. True environmentalists are conservative, and they realize that environmentalists and ecologists cannot support population and development without limits.
