10/10/03 For oh so many years now - having to listen to the sanctimonious, pietistic moralistic, preachy, self-righteousness remonstrations of the US right
wing - it is oh so somewhat perversely satisfying to now witness this same pack of moralizers defend and thus condone: political assassination, torture, international law breaking, lying, sexual harassment, racism, usurious interest rates, indefinite detention, unprovoked war and treason. My how modern they have become. One might even assume that it won't be long before they are defending murder and child molestation as well.
10/08/03 It is a red-letter day for morons. They have voted one of their own into the California governorship, as well as the US White House. Traditional issue
politics has been turned on its head. The democratic political establishment simply does not know how to deal with the new politics called the 'Rove Strategy'. Find the dumbest SOB in the land. Run 'em for political office. Package empty suits in flags and pageantry. Project simple personalities with warmth and charm. Say absolutely nothing and no one has anything
to disagree with: no programs, no platforms, no positions, few political statements. How does the opposition compete with this? Do they run people who know less, say less and are less? Do they run degenerates? Do they need to now turn to the new school of tabloid politics, the meld of tabloid TV and political celebrity?
10/06/03 Everyone has and can have a theory on the price of gasoline, because no one knows anything for sure, since the books of the oil companies are closed to
the public. Opec just reduced production that almost always means the price of gasoline goes up. But not this time. The price of gas has come down thirty cents the last couple of weeks. And maybe you predicted the price would come down
after Labor Day, surprise, surprise. Did anyone believe that the summer price of gas at two bucks a gallon US was not fixed. Does anyone believe that this 30 cent price drop at the same time volume is to be reduced is not fixed. For those that
think that it is, they can speculate that with the economy not doing well, and with an election coming up in a year, wouldn't the oil companies take one for the team, and keep oil profits down until after November 2004?

10/01/03 Sort of pathetic to see
the argument being floated around that Bush won the state
of Florida in 2000 fair and square, as the newspaper investigations later showed, depending on what votes would have been recounted, and 'letters to editor' arguing the merits of the case. This is neither here nor there since that is not how the election was stolen. It was stolen by felon fraud, filching the voter roles of anybody with a similar spelled named as a felon, voiding 94,000 voters. The bedrock of democracy is truth. For the individual to be able to make an objective decision at elections, they must know the truth. The fact that the voter roles were purged has never been reported, but for maybe once, in the whole of American non-internet news market. This is 'information crime' and should be the number one capital crime of a democracy. Problem is it would be very expensive, since it would double the prison population in
America, already the largest per capita in world history.

thief who has made tons of money on car alarms, talk about market testing, has moved into bigger realms of crime, the stealing of elections, and has begun the new crime wave - the
mass recall of every politician and every piece of legislation that anybody with enough money or time can mount. Already a movement has begun to recall Schwarzenegger and he hasn't
even been selected yet. So the pseudo-conservtives all think this is good for democracy. Vote and vote often. Maybe they own stocks in media companies that are cleaning up selling campaign ads. Surprised Darrell Issa hasn't been offered a job in the bush administration where a criminal record seems to be a pre-requisite, like the Iran-contra coterie or Chalabi,
convicted in abstensia by Jordan for embezzlement, fraud and currency-trading irregularities, and who the US selected to head of the Iraqi governing council. Issa could head Bush's reelection campaign.

of NBC news in Baghdad, he had heard from intelligence
sources, that the people they have caught planting bombs
in Iraq, all claim that they were only paid to plant them. Arnett's comment was that there are not a lot of paying jobs
in Iraq. Now for a cartoon conversation somewhere deep inside of Baghdad. "Now remember if you get caught, do not say you are doing it out of conviction or that you are fighting occupation. They can't understand that. Have you ever heard of an American suicide bomber? If they don't shoot you, they will give you a long prison sentence. Just say that you are doing it for the money. Money is the only thing they understand. They can sympathize with this, and may let you go after a couple of days, and make you a better offer."
09/25/03 It has been said here, that 'Bubblemeant' Bush is the dumbest moron to ever have stepped on the world stage or any other for that matter. Now it turns out
he can't read, or at least he has admitted he doesn't read. Well we know he reads because he can't give a speech without reading what is written by others. So it turns out, he doesn't read newspapers or magazines, and only knows what these others tell him he knows. All his information is filtered through his advisors. Talk about living in a bubble. Explains his total and complete disconnect with reality doesn't it. The perfect figurehead for the backroom boys, a guy that does exactly

09/23/03 The ruin of American education began with a Progressive revolution; catch the Russians emphasis on math/science, turned into educate for the work place, now turned into educate for
standarized testing. In every case the object is not
Conservative, because this education is NOT for education's sake, but an objective independent of the integrity of personal learning. Paul Bremer, the US Iraqi Administrator stated to the US congress, something to the affect that we must stick with Iraq and spend the money to make it a viable solid economic competitor in world markets. This is historical, in that it must be the first rationale for the creation of a nation, based NOT on good government and
democracy, but a financial entity. Of course what this really means is a country owned by the multi-national corporations and
Iraq as a corporate subsidiary. The objective is Progressive profit, exterior to the Conservative integrity of the interior national self.
09/21/03 In reference a study of capuchin monkeys in relation to fairness and unfairness,
at the Yerkeys National Primate Research Center in Atlanta, Georgia, published in the journal Nature, it was found that
these monkeys will not work or do their trained tasks, if they
find that they are treated unequally, and that some monkeys
get extra reward. Thus a conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that this species of monkey is more intelligent than the species of humans, and further since America has the greatest inequities of reward of any nation on the planet,
that this nationality is dumbest of all.
09/19/03 The Blaster and Sobig virus' are thought by some to have been created and released for some kind of commercial purposes. If it is true that the latest Microsoft patches, not only fixes the holes in its Windows platform, but returns to Microsoft HQ's, snooped information as to certain contents of their custormers computers, including what non-MS software is used and possibly places spyware, unbeknownst to Microsoft Windows users, for their own self-interest and commercial gain, and wherein these holes may have been created in the first place, because they put their own self-interest ahead of their custormers, this may explain why so many people hate Microsoft.
09/17/03 Gangsters do not like certain facets of the law and find them very troublesome to specific ambitions. Thus the very definition of gangsters is people who break the law for their own ends. This aptly describes the current US administration which feels entitled
to break any law they do not like or approve of. This includes
breaking any treaty it sees fit, the breaking of any international law as interferes with their aims, such as two illegal wars, assassination, illegal confinement, bribery or outing CIA operatives among a whole host of others. Anybody
can dislike any law, but in a civilized society this dislike
is to be properly channeled through legitimate law changing channels. This is the difference between law-abiding citizens and criminal gangsters.
09/15/03 A federal appeals court in San Francisco has ruled that the governor's recall election is put off. The reason is that there are too many punch card voting
machines with too high an error rate compared to the more accurate touch screen voting machines. Now this ruling will
be appealed to Scalia - Deja boo. This has got to be a joke. Guess what they really mean is that the election should be delayed until it can be guaranteed that it can be stolen by computer voting machine fraud. Got to love the recall ballot where the candidates are not listed in alphabetical order. Would probably cause the average voter about 5 minutes to find their candidate - that is if they don't just give up first and vote for top left hand corner, or somebody named Brian Quinn. How many people would just get tired of standing in line and instead go home.

09/11/03 Health care cost increases
in America are running from 10 to 20% a year. Any socialist solution is buried in acid rhetoric while ever new capitalist and privatized schemes are introduced to solve the problem. Health care will never be affordable in America for all or
even the few if things continue as they are because the business of America is business. The first duty of medicine should always be preventative, but this would mean the larger prerequisite of the prevention of selling every manner of disease causing processed food, cheap agriculture and meat industry profit enhancements, and for profit medicine
which only makes money from existing disease. Thus the ever ending same solution of buy and do what you want and we will take care of it later, after the fact with ever-new heroic and expensive technology and medicines.

09/06/03 The Bush administration rented the National Mall in front of the Washington Monument for
a football rally and commercial purposes including the
advertising of Pepsi and other products. This apparently runs counter to Interior Department rules which manages the National Mall that is not to be used for commercial purposes. But the organizers apparently said this doesn't break any rules because it is not advertising - no this is 'sponsor recognition'. In the same vein it is said that Congressman Bill Janklow who is to go on trial for felony manslaughter after speeding through
a stop sign and killing someone will claim he did not break the law by speeding since what he was really doing was 'product enhancement'. The lies the Bush administration tells the world are not really lies but 'objectives promoters', and thus perfectly justified. When corporate CEO's pilfer billions from their shareholders and the public at large, it is not stealing but rather 'revenue diversion'. And apparently the prosecutors agree - since what is it - only one person has been sent to jail, maybe two?
09/04/03 From a column by Jon Carroll, a blogger from Iraq gives the inside story on the offering of contract to rebuild a bridge near Baghdad, previously rebuilt by the Iraqis after the first gulf war. The Iraqi firm bid 300,000 dollars, but the contract was given to an American company for (wrong 500,000,000) (correction 1,200,000) dollars. If this is true, it can not much longer be denied that this Bush administration is nothing but a crime syndicate. Now who is going to pay for this gold plated bridge - them or us? It doesn't look right now like they are going to, since the word of this sort criminal activity gets around and provides even more reason for the guerrilla war against the corrupt, evil, thieving American infidels. So would advise those Americans, especially standing in food lines with their American flags - get used to it.
09/02/03 For those in the world who want to know the true condition of the American democracy and what fairly typifies the US system of justice, an ex four term
Governor of the state of South Dakota and current representative to the US congress who has had been involved
in 7 accidents over the last ten years and cited 12 times for speeding between 1990 to 1994 alone, has finally killed
someone by running a stop sign. With this kind of driving record, the average person would have had their license suspended, had their insurance rise to an unaffordable
level or perhaps be jailed. But in America it is the rule,
that the laws of the land that are claimed to apply to
everyone, do not apply to rich and powerful people. Now that this guy has killed someone, while the average person would probably be incarcerated, the most that can be expected
in the way of a sentence for this felon is a suspended
sentence and maybe some community service.
08/29/03 The current word circulating outside the pale of the US media empire is that no one seems
to be sure how many Americans have been wounded in Iraq since the US invasion. Figures are given but many believe they are too low. Apparently if they are, it is a state secret and classified. Does the US (laughing stock of the world) mass media do any investigation? It can't be that difficult since the hospitals are not that hard to find. Is it that they don't want the Iraqis to know the kind of damage they are inflicting, or is it an embarrassment to the Bush administration? The returning soldiers from the Viet Nam War were shunned by the people. Now the returning US Wounded from Iraq are shunned by
the Bush government and its sycophant media Praetorian Guard. Perhaps the wounded are an embarrassment to the Bush Administration that is trying to keep up the jolly front
that the occupation is going swimmingly. "Look Ma no hands."
08/27/03 Don't think most people much care if factories poison their workers or their neighbors with toxic chemical fumes. Now New Yorkers and especially those society types that may support their lifestyles by the ownership of stocks in those very factories, might be able
to understand it better, since the Bush Administration ordered the EPA to lie to them and keep them misinformed about the toxic air and dust they were swimming in for over two years, which may lead to who knows what health problems, of which
they cannot have much piece of mind for the rest of their lives. In the end the those puffed up 'Big Apple' types are
no more important than ignorant no account workers poisoned
in the hinterlands by these user types. As the old refrain goes, "How does it feel?"
08/25/03 Does the BBC tell the truth? Is the BBC, which is public financed and socialist, considered the best media in the world? Does the Blair administration lie? Does the capitalist media lie? Does the capitalist media such as the Murdock empire tend to lie in support of the Blair and Bush war policies which were based on lies? Is not the Blair government labor which was at one time socialist? If the
BBC tells the truth will it not be natural for the Blair government to attempt to punish the BBC? How quickly does
lying come to determine government policy and philosophy?
08/23/03 The Republican Party is for the very wealthy first, the wanabe managers and then the small business owners, the country club set and the self-centered
fundamentalist religious sects, not enough of a majority to win major elections. Since the Republican Party does not represent the lower classes in any way shape or form, the only constituency that can put them over the top is the very dumb.
This is why the recent very successful Republican electoral strategy is to say as little as possible since this might confuse politically and socially ignorant people. They now
run on image and symbols alone, lots of flags, simple three
word messages, and they run 'front candidates' that are too dumb or too unethical to know or care how superficial they are. Schwarzenegger has recently said the people do not want to know the details of his policies, and his constituency of the
feeble minded probably doesn't. How very convenient for a tinsel town, silver screen celluloid warrior of murder and
mayhem.
08/21/03 Well it has been fairly proven that CEOs do not have to have much smarts to be paid tons of money by the corporations, since often the more money they get the worse the corp. does financially. Generally their job is to
promote the sales of products they produce and America is the market of the world. Now any idiot would know that people have to have money to buy their product. They would also know that people have to have jobs to get money. So what do these brilliant CEOs do? They send the jobs overseas and people in America lose their jobs, have less or no money to spend and
quit buying their products and the corporations make less money. One can say that they just don't care because they will make more money in the short run by reducing cost. Or one could say that this is about as intelligent as many of them are.
