11/14/03 If American children have the greatest poverty rates, or the least health care or the worst education in the industrialized world, and if American adults have the least and most expensive health care, work the most hours, the least labor or political representation, it will more than likely never be any different until the people do, what they have done in most other countries: which is work stoppages, national strikes and protests. Occasionally, once or twice in a lifetime, an American might see something in the news, as a one-line statement to the affect, "National strike for health care hits UK". The reason there is no international news in the US is that they don't like to give people ideas. The American powers that be have the masses by the short cares. For the same reason Americans don't pick up litter - too embarrassing to their perceived sense of self-importance and pride - most would never dream of participating in strikes, mobilizations, work stoppages and marches.
11/12/03 There is perhaps a famous
skit they do in group dynamics classes. They put a number
of students in front of the class, to pretend they are in
a lifeboat. One is captain, one is a millionaire, movie star,
doctor, carpenter, dentist, priest, lawyer and so on, and the injured guy. They have one to many for the boat, and to survive they have to throw one overboard. It is reported that 100% of the time they throw the injured guy overboard. A jury in Texas found Robert Durst, a 60-year-old cross-dressing, drug addict, millionaire, real estate heir, in hiding from an investigation of his first wife Kathy's disappearance in South Salem, NY 21 years ago, who admitted he murdered, dismembered and then threw his neighbor Morris Black's body parts into the Galveston Bay, was found INNOCENT of the murder claiming self-defense.
11/10/03 98% of Americans have never heard of the sale of Iraq, wherein the US has sold off the national government owned assets of the old Iraqi regime contravening international law and the Geneva conventions on occupying powers. What the Americans have heard is propaganda,
propaganda and more ... American helicopters shot down in
Iraq and what does the US media have to say, but how this could happen and how this might not happen, but absolutely forbidden is 'why' anything - because the why would indicate the truth.
The present American government promotes capitalist corporate agendas. To the extent that the media shares those agendas, they have a self-imposed bias disguised as protecting moral values, which forbids them to speak of anything that contravenes those mores. Americans are quick to understand
what propaganda is when it is identified in foreign countries or times, like Nazi Germany or Communist Russia, but oblivious to it when they are enveloped in it. Now that is great propaganda.
11/07/03 The history of Christianity is the history of thieves. Just in the more recent times since the 1500s, the colonization of the world by Christian nations, the theft of lands from indigenous peoples the world over, the exploitation of cheap labor, slaves and the slave trade, and continuing to this day the theft of resources, and now the corporate theft of the world's utilities and Iraq, all from Christian majority nations. Christian Germany stole Europe. Why are Christians the world's, and perhaps the galaxie's worst thieves? Must be the entitlement of superior moral virtue that
makes them do it. How convenient to deprive the devil of his due. They have learned to take baths, but it is doubtful that they will ever give up thieving.
11/05/03 Iraq is the playground for US capitalist privateers, to create from scratch a model and ideal of their own creation, as a capitalist corporate state like a Disney Land of the Middle East. They have privatized the national economy and imposed a 15 % flat tax, applicable to
the poorest peasant and richest corporation alike. Based on their record in the US, one can expect that there would be a two class system, or rich and poor: privatized health care, education, social security, utilities, insurance, and emergency services unaffordable to the poor. There will be no labor unions or labor laws, no pension plans, no environmental laws, no unemployment insurance, no laws whatsoever that restrict
the profits of the rich. In essence it is to be a paradise
for corporate criminals, in the way that Cuba was before
Castro, for the corporate and mafia crime syndicates.
11/03/03 Heard someone say that they never could understand why Japanese Californians were interred during WWII but not Japanese Hawaiians. Hadn't heard before that no Japanese-American citizens were sent to internment camps in Hawaii, even though the whole of the Pacific fleet
was based there. Actually the interment of Japanese, which
so upsets most people, was the most elegant part of it. What actually happened was that certain California farmers lobbied specific members of the federal congress (can't remember the names) to have this done. The Japanese had successful farming operations in the state. They were given a week to 2 weeks to sell their assets. How's that for eliminating the completion, and buying up valuable farmland and equipment for 10 cents on the dollar. Am guessing the Japanese didn't own much farmland in Hawaii. Can't understand some aspects of American history? Look to thievery.

10/29/03 Pseudo-conservatives tend to be out for themselves, because they assess consequence by subtracting from the model of what they aspire, as the exclusive elite.
Liberals on the other hand tend to be altruistic, because they assess consequence from
an identification with the inclusive commons. The corporation, with an economic structure based solely on profit, serves the interests of the Pseudo-conservatives, who are primarily
interested in corporate use, as means to gain and maintain exclusive elite status, and do not give a damn about anybody but themselves.
10/27/03 "We will now bring you a coalition spokesperson on the phone." 'Coalition forces' - great, who is on the phone, an Englishman, maybe someone from Poland, Spain, Korea, who will it be? Awe - its an American. Wait we have another coalition spokesperson on the line - nope an American again. But here's another one. Oops! Right - like Coalition forces means anything but American. You would think these news reporters would be capable of some embarrassment,
or have some dignity - but nooooo! And after they continually substitute the phrase 'coalition forces' for American, on orders from the White House no doubt, so painfully sycophantic to the ear, can you believe anything they say after that? One would think they would have no problem ordering a Double Dog Dick Whopper, with mustard and ketchup fore and aft, fries and a stroke, at the latest fast food bim-bobo hut, unlike some of
the rest of us might.
10/24/03 The Israelis may or may not rule the world by proxy - they are the only country on the planet that gets to have all the nukes they want without ever revealing it to the world, nor to have to sign the
non-proliferation treaty. They are the only country that gets
a nation based on religion; the only one that gets to break international law, Geneva conventions, UN mandates etc. on a daily basis - ... But what they do rule absolutely by proxy is the US mass media. The next time there is a Palestinian suicide bombing, that kills and injures x number of people in Israel; it will be the headline everywhere in the US, with cameras on the street, blood, ambulances, cries of anguish, shock, dismay and outpouring of sympathy. When the Israelis bomb Palestinians with jet planes and helicopters with as many as 50 or 100 civilian causalities - what are ya gonna see or hear- some mention somewhere, maybe?
10/22/03 A college student, smuggled into two planes: box cutters, bleach, matches and modeling clay. The authorities would like to charge him with revealing that the millions or billions, they have spent on airport security is worthless. But no - they can't charge him with that - there is no law against it - so they are charging him with boarding airplanes with dangerous weapons, although since when have box cutters, bleach, matches and modeling clay become weapons, may be a wonder to anyone. 'Could get' 10 years. They always tell you in America, what they 'could get', - 'could get' 99 years for stock fraud or 'could get' 7 years for marijuana possession. But it is rather seldom that they tell what they actually did get. They have either long forgotten the story or they don't want us to know that the CEO got nada, while the marijuana smoker got 5 years. People might begin
to put together that 'did get' is 'get no' for some and 'get
mo' for others.
10/20/03 If American, corporations are moving their plants and jobs to foreign countries where their workers enjoy substandard living conditions, low wages, zero health care, unsanitary and unhealthy living and working conditions, any or all of which would be illegal and criminal for American workers - these CEOs, boards of directors and stockholders, who move their operations where American law
is voided are criminals pure and simple. What is crime in one country is crime another, because it is crime against the same humanity, and it is dodging the law. And in the US social register, these are nearly the most proper people we have.
10/17/03 You can tell a liberal is really a
pseudo-conservative when it is ok for Repubs to recall Dem governors but not vice versa, and when nobody should go to jail for drug addiction, although millions do, partly for the reason that guys like Rush Limbaugh ensure that such an attitude prevails in the US. It is all very high moral, but when people like Limbaugh are not held to the same standards that they
promote, it is the same old double standard. Tommy Chong (left) gets 9 months real time for selling a bong. Rush Limbaugh (right) will get nada for downing from 100,000 to 300,000 illegal prescription pills. In fact he will probably get the Medal of Freedom. Course reformists think that Limbaugh will now reform and see the light. He'll see the light when he comes out of jail with his bible, but since one of the benies of the Republican Party is a get out of jail free card, he won't be needin' light sensitive lenses anytime soon.
10/15/03 When is the US going to get tough on crime? What they need to do is destroy the home of anyone convicted of serious felonies, and if the criminal doesn't have a home; they should destroy the home of his parents, who are responsible for the little sucker anyway.
This is called collective punishment and is against international law and the Geneva conventions. It was practiced by the Nazis and is practiced by most occupying powers, and it is practiced on a near daily basis for the past 20 years by Israel on the Palestinians. It is something most Americans have never heard of, because the US Ministry of Misinformation does not allow it to be disseminated anywhere in the US mass media. However if it were practiced by the likes of the Cubans, the Chinese, the Iranians or the North Koreans, you would never hear the end of it. The view from the US moral high ground.
10/12/03 The US, no matter what it costs, no matter if it bankrupts America, no matter how many lives lost, no matter how many lies told, is now stuck in Iraq like to a tar baby. The last thing they are interested in is democracy in Iraq, but instead a privatized capitalist haven owned by foreign corporations, wherein happy with material baubles, the Iraqis will forget about religious fanaticism. If they leave, by their own self-imposed policy strategy, a government might emerge that could unite Iraq, Syria and Iran and or that could threaten the US and the world's oil supplies, which is the real reasons they went there in the first place: the oil and military bases, from which to henceforth control the Middle East. With the ongoing revolt in Iraq, the guerrilla wars in Afghanistan, the US cannot invade Syria or Iran and ignite more revolt and more guerrilla wars. Its military manpower is already stretched to the breaking point. There
is no stated US end game, because how hard is it to tell the truth?
