But as I was saying I was a romantic and I built from wood, two by fours and plywood a frame with a trap door. This I and we took out to that pretty little valley with the silver niveous snowy white Chevy in the moonlight with Kansas City by Wilbert Harrison playing on the radio, dug a hole and put the trap door frame over it and then hid it with dirt and leaves after hiding a case of beer in there.
We visited there a few times but on the last as we were driving out we ran into a very expensive car coming in and which made a dusty spinning Uturn and began to chase us. Christo was driving very fast but at a stop sign at the gas ball a big gray metal storage tank the pursuing car cut us off by pulling in front. Christo cursed and said he shouldn't have stopped. Dickie said he knew them and he got out and ran up there to explain the situation. It was the property owner's son and why were we on his property ? Your guess is as good as mine.
It was from the Gas Ball which was huge and gray, close to the ground, fenced off and where we got our home heating gas from - which the intersection was just south of the west end of Song Lake, and intersected east to Song and Round Lake, north to Ingleside, Fox Lake or Lake Villa, and west to McHenry or Johnsburg home of the famous bowling alley and mostly pizza, and South to Big Hollow; was here that a state or county cop started after me for I don't remember why speeding or not stoping. Which reminds me of Hainesville between Round Lake Park and Grayslake.
