Logic
as discussed here is of two kinds of processes called Foundation and Authority Reasoning. Foundation Reasoning means rationale based on collected facts as evidence to propound a conclusion. The pie was on the floor. The dog was in the kitchen, with pie on his paws. Conclusion, the dog filched the pie.

Foundation Reasoning is in essence Inductive, which is to reason from the particular to the general or induct particulars as evidential facts as pie, dog or paws, to the general conclusion. The dog dished the pie.

Particular to general means specifics to a general conclusion. If it's sunny in Singalong specific, one likely won't be carrying an umbrella in general.

The second logical method is termed Authority Reasoning. Conclusions are based not so much on evidence but on authority. If Einstein says it's true then it must be, though there is no evidence, but they will find some if it takes them fifty years. Thus only evidence or what passes as such, that supports the pre-decided conclusive authority, is considered and all else is deducted.

Authority Reasoning is in essence Deductive, which is to reason from the general to the particular or deduct particulars as evidential facts. Two dogs fought and the pit bull was assumed to have started the fight though it did not, because of the authority of its reputation, the second dog was deducted as the miscreant.

General to Particular means general conclusion to specifics in conformance with the concluded. General - all dots are red. This specific is a dot. It must be red. And if it is not, it must be deported.

Authority reasoning holds generalities which proceed evidence to be true. God said let there be light and there was light. Well we don't know, but since God said it must be true.

Foundation Reasoning is to build factual case to prove conclusion, and is the method of those with integrity. Rather the guilty go free than the innocent convicted. Foundation Reasoning is associated with the sciences, law, honest government. education, democracy or honest socialism.

The particulars as parts are used to build to the general conclusion or a whole. As the conclusion is dependent on the particulars, the Whole is dependent on the Parts, and thus is associated with Socialism or government of the particulars, by the particulars and for the particulars.

The Meta Property One as particulars collected to make a Meta Propery All. Or All precedes and selects only those Ones as enforce the authority.

Authority represents the general pre-concluded all of a type. All apples are bad and since you are an apple, well you know what pears think of apples. Authority is what is judged unassailable, and thus any antithetical opposition is automatically wrong.

Authority Reasoning is the rational of the right wing, Capitalism and Religion. They premise Authoritive social orders and hierarchies as inevitable and natural to the human condition, as well as patriotism, elitism, law and order, church, state, family and capitalism.

Anyone who disagrees with designated authority is by virtue of antagonistic opposition wrong and thus no evidence is needed, if there were doubt, as to guilt in a particular instance, of such a hooligan's infraction.

The NY Times claim that anonymous CIA sources said, Trump is in Putin's pocket, is Authority Reasoning where the anonymous CIA is the authority, without any evidence presented or needed. They do it day in and out called propaganda by Foundation Reasoning.
