Considerations

Talk of politics
and the one facet that is probably the most apposite, but is never mentioned much if at all, by historians, social scientists or media myopias, is the problem with politics is intelligence, or the lack thereof.

It could be said that a single point of view is narrow minded, and as a political spectrum from Right Wing to Left, the Right is narrow, to broader or better educated is the Left.

Narrow single mindedness devolves from Monotheism as one God, one way, one opinion, one way of doing things, narrow and simpleton simplistic. What we know is all that is necessary, that as God's known.

Compassion one would think, would require something of an understanding of others as different and distinct. Not hardly when when others are ungodly and evil. Leave it to the inquisitioners. Jesus taught forgiveness but not compassion. Forgiveness for what others have done wrong, the guilty party, but no understanding of the other's point of view as compassion. We will forgive you, and your counterfeit God, but never understand, never wear your shoes.

The Right Wing descends from the monotheistic, simple single one-way, easy to understand dogmatics, and let's not complicate things with alternative others. The Right Wing sooner or later loves a fascist, a simpleton they can understand. “I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me ..."

Of course politicians must reflect by what they opine, the opinions of their voters, the majority of whom are usually rather simple and uneducated, consumers they are to the corporate capitalists and there is nothing worse than an educated consumer.

And one would expect of an altruistic social contract, an effort to educate the citizens via the media, which would be to raise the consciousness of the citizens. However there is no such thing in corporate private capitalism, selling advertising of what let's say is cigarettes. It is not in the interest of media to inform their customers that the product they are advertising is death in the long run. Proven fact they did not and still do not, for instance selling war is apparently big business, not by advertising but by public service news propaganda. Maybe arms makers advertise dish washers and generally electric wares.

The Right Wing are Capitalists, Excess and Profiteers and private property. They like to own everything and are about themselves and a closed circle of minions. They don't socialize well and one could say are not smart enough to be able to get along with people not near identical to themselves. As one might encounter out and about, people not smart enough to have a conversation with a stranger.

Whereas the Left Wing are socialists which means government, although you will never hear that from the Corporate alias Propaganda, Capitalist Media who hate socialism, although I don't think they are alight enough to know what it means.

The government military is socialist, community tax supported but they don't know it. Insurance as pooled resources of the many pay losses to the few, is socialist but they don't know that. Banks are socialist, capital of community savings lent to the few, but they don't know it. Churches are socialist, non-profit by donation, serve the community like government but they don't know it. Nature is socialist non-profit Necessity and Subsistence and exists by equilibrium replacement of what is lost. And the universe has not been shown to make a profit either for that matter.

Is it a plot or are they just thick ? A plot might suggest that a ruling class suppresses intelligence of the commons and the media does for sure, and they are so much smarter. But if global warming is true, it means they are so much dead-header, even than the long extinct Dodo bird.

O the problem is said to be lack of ethics, morality, greed is a big one, dishonesty, selfishness, but no-one suggests people are just plain stupid. No the problem is, arms makers, political war mongers, especially the Right Wing being usually the parties of the rich, love ever more defence they call it, and often it is their only legitimate platform. They are simply not intelligent enough to realize they are evil - murder and maim millions. How do who prosecute retards ?
