Considerations

Volition
is the capacity to conceptualize in the mind alternatives to given circumstances and conditions, or specifically natural or nature's prohibitives, like gravity keeps one grounded.

Volitional abilities in the first instance, essentially means to eliminate or reduce the prohibitives of the qualities and conditions of the natural world. Volitional abilities are anything from matches, a roof over four walls, the wheel, flying machines or or anything invented.

What opposes human volition is what is termed Prohibitive Consequence, which is impossible or detrimental consequential outcome, like squaring a circle or oops fell off a building. Or Prohibitive Integrity as conduct codes, such as ethics, morality or law, which regulates by limitation or prohibition, forms of human conduct like drinking and driving.

Volitional abilities are enhanced by the creation of material invention, which transcends the state of nature and gives to the individual any number of options, to states pre-existent development, like the wheel or the firearm.

Volitional abilities and capacities are enhanced if there is the absence of any inherent Consequential Value, pertaining to anything in nature as mineral, vegetable or animal. The greatest degrees of volition are derived from the creation of Excess and Profit, in which choice is manufactured like cars, televisions and computers. Anything, to include human slave labor, may be used to create the means to volitional states.

The ability of volition is the pure force and power of the machine or the gun, wherein that which is material for volitional capacities, is absent any consequence which prohibits transformation or destruction.

In the absence of any inherent consequence contained in nature to include humans, what is left is pure one-life dead and disappear materialism.

Divine Consequential Value, which would extend one's existence into future life must be created. For supernal pre-Excess and Profit Indigenous peoples, consequence is Spirituality, wherein spirits are an integral aspect of the earthly terrain. With the replacement of Necessity and Subsistence with Excess and Profit, spiritual sanctity of nature is lost.

Thus Religion must be created as an enhancement of the powers of volition, which here means specifically, a religious realm of Gods Angels or whatever, independent of the natural world, thus not impeding the exploitation of nature, which otherwise might be considered as sacrosanct. Soul is created which ads volition, as the ability to trans-dimensionalize into future life.

Of course the advent of monotheism in all probability, does not correspond time-wise to the advent of Excess and Profit, and originated of it's own accord perhaps as a means of obtaining political power by the few, namely control of access to the one God. The point being not necessarily the historical chronology or accuracy of the theory, but rather the sense of the logic.
