A Spiritual Epiphany, where the individual encounters and embraces the Metaphysical-I as a reality, may produce a conflict of personal
Consequence. What would be the Consequence of the Metaphysical-I, and thus the Material Self as an appendage of it? How would one's own perception of self-consequence compare? What is one's own
understanding of Consequence? The answer to these questions may lie in a relationship and communication with the Metaphysical-I.
The Metaphysical-I represents a means of greater understanding.
If the Metaphysical-I has power in the world and can communicate by Semiotic Language, then perhaps it has powers of greater magnitude.
If one were to come to believe one has the power to make changes in the universe through the Metaphysical-I, would it be the obligation of such a one to use those powers, or would it be irresponsible? If it were to be deemed an obligation then a greater understanding of the world might be considered a necessity. If one had any influence, in so far as greater powers, one who is conscientiousness would need an understanding of the nature of such power if one intended to use it. Thus it would become incumbent upon one to come to an understanding of the nature of Consequence, what is of Consequence and why.
Communication with the Metaphysical-I would be intended to answer any number of questions. Interpreting happenstance as Semiotic Language,
or empirical changes in the real world is relatively simple. One assigns some symbolic meaning to real world events. The falling pine cone almost hitting one was interpreted to mean disapproval for what was thought or said. One assumes that the Metaphysical-I is cognizant of one's level of understanding, which means that sooner or later it may occur to one that what one understands is based on what one already knows. One may notice that different people will interpret the same object or circumstance in different ways relative to varying levels of understanding. One may interpret an abstract painting as having a certain meaning while another would view it as meaningless splatter. Interpretation of anything from a chair to a painting possesses an infinite multiplicity of possible interpretations. The meaning of one's life might be interpreted in one way by a ten year old, and another perhaps at twenty, and again at forty etc.
Thus the nature of Consequence would of course be different for different people, and one might want to create a means for greater understanding.
Two methods or techniques might be employed. One can adopt any Secondary Identity one wants and as many as one likes. Secondary Identities can be used to understand the perspectives and consciousness of others. The second is to use the power of Belief, which would give to Secondary Identities an enhanced reality of greater Consequence, intensity and realness. Belief may be created by the Metaphysical-I, as the facility to manipulate reality.
