The Metaphysical-I would be said to be capable of predicting or altering the future by influencing thought, feeling, dreams and or possibly affecting events themselves. However, if the Invisibility Premise is a valid dynamic,
this would be done in a covert way, as unconscious premonition, through dreams, impulse, intuition, feelings, inspiration or 'spirit language of signs',
like finding a four leaf clover is good luck or a black cat for bad.
Since the mundane self cannot predict the future with certainty, and since the world can be a dangerous place, it would be helpful to have a warning system for future danger, where such an indicator would be the Metaphysical-I. The object here is the interjection of a change in behavior, unknown consciously to the individual, like a scout out-front in time, to prevent some unfortunate occurrence.
It might also be helpful to have a search vehicle for finding objectives in future, as what one needs, in the most efficient way and with the least possible effort, like finding a parking place, a good dentist, a mechanic
or the answer to a question. In both of these instances there is an object in future. The premise here is that the Metaphysical-I would be capable of tipping one off, to the time and or location of objectives such as these, if one were an astute listener to one's inner Metaphysical-I.
Since the Metaphysical-I is more or less invisible, not apparent to many if not most, a means might be utilized to personify and give it qualities in which one could identify with and emulate. This may be accomplished with the creation of a Transcendent Identity, which is created like any other, as a characterization to represent the Metaphysical-I. Since the Metaphysical-I is invisible, a means must be established by which it manifests and communicates itself to the individual.
The problem here is an objective source and means of communication and awareness. Since an internal dialog, such as thinking, dreams, visions, drugs, 'voices of god', and any intellectually sourced supposed dialog can be subjective and a product of the Thinking-I, where one fools oneself based on wishful thinking and prejudged assumptions, a more objective source of communication might be indicated. This would be the external world as happenstance, events, circumstances or happenings in the environment, that are objective to the sensory system. The source of these events would be considered to be the Metaphysical-I in some instances, which would be assumed to be capable to influence circumstance and events called Semiotic Language. However in this case while the source could be considered more or even completely objective, there would then be a problem of interpretation.
