Religion
is distinguished from Spirituality. Religion is materialist and progressive while
Spirituality is Conservative and ethereal.
Spirituality proceeds Religion in terms of progressive human material development, in which non-physical spiritual entities are considered as contained in and coexistent with the natural world. The economic means is Necessity and Subsistence, and what is used for human consumption is limited to what is needed. Thus no blame.
Religion begins with the introduction of Excess and Profit, and the stratification of society into progressed and less developed classes. The object and identity of Progressive Materialism, is first progressive material acquisition, which then becomes extrapolated into the spiritual realm of the non-physical.
Religion is defined as monotheistic and Spirituality as polytheistic. Religion is one and only one God fascist. Spirituality is defined as democratic, a multiplicity of Gods. Religion is equated with capitalism and Spirituality with socialism. When Excess and Profit is combined with monotheism, one God is licence for one-all the money oligarchy.
Progressive Materialism is bipolar by its nature, wherein all evaluation is by the comparison of the natural, undeveloped, primitive states, to developed, superior, sophisticated and elite qualities and conditions. These bipolar opposites are called Antithetical and Ideal, or what is natural called primitive and what is Ideal as the highest degrees of development. The Ideals of Religion are non-physical, abstract, mental and intellectual constructs, that represent superior perfection and purity, opposite to the natural physical world. Thus Religion is conflictive with nature and combined with Excess and Profit is lethal.
Materialist Religion is Progressive. The human individual being of material composition is considered as possessing little or no inherent Consequence, which must be earned through conformity to religious ideals. True Consequence is considered by religion as Ideals that are in opposition to nature, which has no inherent worth except for material resource.
Religious consequence is non-physical and non-worldly and thus its opposite is nature, and all that is natural is of no consequence. This is convenient to the economics of Excess and Profit, where anything in the natural world may be used, exploited and developed for economic gain including non-ordained humans. Thus the material world becomes no more than material resource and materialism.
Religious Ideal exists of a separate dimension, of which the human individual is to conform and imitate, and human living existence becomes material resource for a future state in another dimension.
Perhaps an interesting proposition is what is termed the Religious Paradox. This paradox is that Religion based on the abstract, non-physical, state of mind, is materialist, and Spirituality based on physical empirical reality is non-materialist. Materialist Religion based entirely on non-physical, abstract and separate reality, needs to represent itself in concrete terms or Religious Ideals
as a means of authenticity. Religion is materialist because it can only be represented by material means.
On the other hand the belief system of Spirituality is that the material world is spiritual in and of itself, possessing, infused and animated by non-physical elements. Thus the activity and behavior of the physical world may represent the activity and behavior of the spiritual world, and thus the Spiritual is material.
Religion is Moral as opposed to Ethical. Morality is the conduct and deportment of Materialism. Religious Consequence is non-material, and the material world thus has no inherent Consequence in and of itself, and thus may be used in any way deemed necessary or profitable. Essentially there are no absolute prohibitions and the Consequence of a given entity is determined by the degree of correspondence between bipolar antitheticals as Ideal and natural. The consequence of the religious man is something more than human and less than God.
Ethics would be defined as more the province of Spirituality based on the economics of Necessity and Subsistence, wherein the material world as Spiritual would prohibit superfluity as Excess and Profit.
Religion is the province of the Mundane, while Spirituality is of the Symbolic Consciousness. The Mundane Consciousness means primarily that evaluation of Consequence is from a material, physical base that is singular, limited, mundane and finite. Thus God and all its representations are specific, finite and delimited to material human qualities as Religious Ideals. Man in God's image. Essentially religious theology is transcendence to progressed ideals and states that explain the reason, purpose, value and consequence of present earthly existence. If the individual is limited to the singular, specific and finite, there is limited will, except to act in accordance with definitive definition.
On the other hand, Spiritual Consequence evaluates from the non-physical, non finite, non-specific and symbolic, wherein any phenomenon, entity or event can take the form and symbolism of spirit, for any period of time,
or what is termed Olaic Value. The Will of Spirituality is the ability to define and value, in any way the person is capable. The determination of Spirituality is Existent, meaning the Consequence of the whole is determined by the consciousness of present circumstance, or whatever the individual can apprehend.
