Sexual preference
a theory of, that while having no scientific basis, would seem to neatly explain the eight categories of sexual practice, that do seem obviously to exist.

These are : Male/assertive heterosexual.
Male/receptive heterosexual.
Male/assertive gay.
Male/receptive gay.
Female/receptive heterosexual.
Female/assertive heterosexual.
Female/receptive lesbian.
Female/assertive lesbian.

It first must be stated that it is accepted here that one is born with a male or female biology, a genetic, biological, chemical, sexual makeup - a born-propensity as heterosexual, gay or lesbian.

This theory proposes a psychological sexual propensity overlay, as the relationship of the Ego and the Identities. Thus the schematic illustrating the proposed configurations of this theory, follows as eight sexual propensities, of the combinations of Ego and Identities, as sexually - assertive male-like, or receptive female-akin.

The Ego is defined as the selector of Association or primary personality, specifically as that which pertains to and affects the body - both internal and external. The Ego function is to evaluate the bodies correspondence to specific and constant performance correspondent to its environment and its own optimum operation. The Ego is singular as pertains to one body.

Identities are Interpretive Personifications as selectors of association, or secondary personalities created to accomplish objectives. The individual can have any number of Identities pertaining to key objectives one may have, generally from four to six.

The sexual interpretation through the Ego means to register and interpret through the body, sensory system and feelings, as opposed to the Identities, which register and interpret through the processes of mind. As a generalization the Ego is governed by the feelings while the Identity is governed by the mind.

The body can have a propensity to feel more male if female, and more female if male. Thus it would be said, that the Ego can have a propensity to feel sexually, more male or female in opposition to one's sex.

The sexual Identity would possess the objective of sex. And it would also be conjectured that the individual could have more than one sexual Identity, as for instance both heterosexual and gay sexual objectives.

Thus the schematic illustrating the proposed configurations of this theory, follows as eight sexual propensities, as the combinations of Ego and Identity, as sexually assertive male agnate or sexually receptive analogous female.

When the sex is male and the Ego and Sexual Identity are male - Male/assertive heterosexual. (Patriarchal)
When the sex is male and the Ego and Identity are both male, it is considered as the normal healthy male heterosexual, in patriarchal society and culture. The Ego and Identity are in agreement. A man is naturally a male Ego, and may be expected to assume a male Identity like a carpenter, contractor, workman or soldier. The Identity may determine the degree of assertiveness the individual exhibits. The biker or outlaw may exhibit a strong degree of assertiveness while the doctor or lawyer may not. The Alter Sexual Identity is female - or male/female assertive gay.

When the sex is male, the Ego is female and the Sexual Identity is male: Male/receptive heterosexual. (Matriarchal)
When the sex is male and the Ego is female, while the Sexual Identity is male, it means that the individual prefers an assertive woman or the Ego of a woman and the Identity of a man. This may be the male archetype of the matriarchal society. and may represent a more balanced sexual psychology. Sexually the individual may feel passive, receptive or inadequate, and or perhaps intellectually bored with a stereotypically singular role, or would rather hide than seek so to speak. The Alter-Identity is female, or female/female receptive gay.

When the sex is male, the Ego is male and the Sexual Identity is female - Male/assertive gay.
When the sex is male and the Ego is male while the Sexual Identity is female, may mean the individual is a assertive gay, attracted to or preferring other men. This individual would feel like a man, but might prefer the more refined delicate, sensitive feeling and intelligence of the female Identity. The Alter-Identity is male - or male/male heterosexual.

When the sex is male, the Ego is female and the Sexual Identity is female - Male/receptive gay.
When the sex is male and the Ego is female while the Sexual Identity is female, may mean that the individual is receptive gay, attracted to assertive men. This individual may feel sexually receptive and also has the identity of a woman, and as with the female Ego and Identity, they are in agreement. The Alter-Identity is male: or female/male heterosexual.

When the sex is female and the Ego and Sexual Identity are both female, they are in agreement and are the normal and preponderant archetype in patriarchal society. A woman has naturally a female Ego and may be expected to assume a female Identity, like home-maker, secretary, nurse or school teacher. The Identity may determine the degree of femininity or receptiveness. The Alter-Sexual Identity is male: or female/male heterosexual of the matriarchal society.

When the sex and the Ego are female and the Sexual Identity is male - Female/assertive heterosexual. (Matriarchal)
When the sex is female and Ego is female while the Sexual Identity is male, means the heterosexual woman may feel more like a woman but prefers the male Identity. This might be a commanding, bossy, strong, masculine, leader type, but who feels herself as feminine. This may be the archetype of the matriarchal society. There may exist a conflict here with the normal male Ego and Identity, and a more compatible mate might be the male with the female Ego and the male Identity. The Alter-Sexual Identity is female: or female/female lesbian.

When the sex is female and the Ego is male and the Sexual Identity is female - Female/receptive lesbian.
When the sex is female and the Ego is male while the Sexual Identity is female, may be representative of a woman who feels like a man and thus incompatible with another man, but has a female Identity and thus is a receptive lesbian. The Alter-Sexual Identity is male: or male/male lesbian, as the opposite or assaertive role.

When the sex is female and the Ego is male and the Sexual Identity is male - Female/dominant lesbian.
When the sex is female and the Ego is male while the Sexual Identity is male, the woman may be an assertive lesbian. This woman feels, has the Identity, and acts like a man. The Alter-Sexual Identity is female or male/female lesbian, as the opposite of the assertive. Lesbians then might easily and comfortably be able to switch roles.

As a general rule two assertives as a couple may have a difficult time getting along, since they may be always battling for control. Two receptives become easily bored with each other, and may get tired of neither taking control when necessary.
