Where Authority is the Authority, people will not be all that swift, and will follow any flag so long as it is the right color like lemmings into the sea. Modern culture is governed by what is called the
Metaphysical Ideal, as the Authority for human affairs along with the
Extra Mundane Authority as God. Both are the same except one is religious and the other secular. The Metaphysical Ideal is the epitome of Progressive Materialism which is essentially exploitable resource and the profits of the exploitation called the Metaphysical Ideal as gold or everything elite. Religious Monotheism is the same except the exploitable resource is people who think and act differently differently, like Mongolians, Iranians, Indonesians or Eskimos. These then would act as representation for how the religiously select should-not act and behave by contrast without which what would they be as better than ?
The MetaPhysical Ideal of Progressive Materialism produces
Monoculture, meaning only that and those which conform to the Ideal are considered as valid. Everything else is materially exploitable. In terms of Intelligence this system produces people who know something about themselves but nothing about anyone else. Why should they ? They are all that counts. They think themselves the cream of creation. And of the pie, they represent something of ten percent of it, and know nothing of the ninety percent. And to cover their ignorance they act all the more arrogant, like land-thieves righteousness towards those they have stolen from.
People who travel develop an understanding of how other people are,
and become more open-minded as generally the middle and upper-middle classes. We could call them globalists, whereas the lower and lower-middle classes don't get around that much, and we could call them locals.
