I have listened to music since forever. The first song I ever remember was Stormy Weather by Lena Horne. I never could make a musician. I didn't understand music, although most of the other kids in town were in school band. My first great record album which I wore out was Elmer Bernstein's sound track from the movie, 'The Man with the Golden Arm' in the fifth grade. I always was into instrumentals but since most music has words, I listened to the instrumentation and paid no attention to the vocals. I didn't think there was much said that was worth the effort. The only time I thought so was Bob Dylan. So I did an analysis but didn't get anything. But a lot of music has good catch lines or one liners. So it came about that concerning words, I restricted myself to catch phrases. Examples might be like 'Everywhere That I'm not', 'Dancing With Myself', 'You Better You Bet', ! Sometimes I misrepresented some of the words when they were inaudible to my ears. In those cases I made them what I wanted without knowing it. "Did my Love Open Your Heart".

The system I developed in this instance was communication by catch phrases. They were broad enough that I could apply them to any number of contexts and mysterious enough that they might be philosophically meditative. 'Your everywhere that I'm not'. If one would assume that these catch phrases were intentionally communicative, then scenarios could be created for the interpretation of one's reality.

The thing about a radio personality was you did not know what they looked like, but they may have such a wonderful sounding voice, unlike today when you can look them up on your computer.
