Indigenous people
historically have not been-big on Excess and Profit. Indigenous, meaning people who live by Necessity and Subsistence it could be said, lacked the technology to develop the means of Excess and Profit. Meaning, to produce more than is necessary and trade the excess for extra goods called profit.

Necessity and Subsistence makes no sense to Progressives. Value is never increased. The energy and effort of work only produces and maintains the same qualities and conditions, and does not increase material consequence. Thus Indigenous people even as we speak, not using what they possess for profit, are being robbed of their property, stolen by profiteer settlers.

Necessity and Subsistence is the natural law of the planet. There is no known Excess and Profit other than human created in the universe. Change that reproduces and preserves the same state changed is called Conservative, meaning that the integrity of any given pre-existent states is greater than alternative anomaly that can be created to replace them.

Thus of Necessity and Subsistence, what is transformed and destroyed is only what is needed. No blame, the law of the plane. Survival the right of the mammal entity. However when the concept of Excess and Profit is introduced, and what had a legitimate right of existence only denied by the predator prey of Necessity and Subsistence, ceases to exist in human terms, and becomes material resource for profit.

The raccoon is no longer a raccoon but a pair of gloves, a coat, a stole, a hat. It has no legitimate existence except as profit. Excess and Profit de-legitimises existence and thus represents consequential negation as the introduction of Materialism. Excess and Profit demands material resource for the production of its products. Thus those resources can have no consequence other than a vehicle to profit.

Psychologically theorizing - the destruction, transformation and conversion of resource to profit are objectives for which Identities are created. Miner, Blaster, Carpenter, Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable Clerk. These Identities are created as accordant to what is required to fulfil objectives of extracting minerals as material for profit, and thus we could say are materialist Identities.

The Ego as the minister of the body, in which Necessity and Subsistence would be enough, and if uninterested in Excess and Profit, might be considered as the Spiritual aspect of the personality, meaning granting Consequence to many or all aspects of nature. While the Identities of the system of Excess and Profit, are quite likely to be materialist, interpreting the laws of nature as merely mechanical cause and affect, such that the objectives of Excess and Profit are unimpeded.

Spirituality means something more or other than mechanics and could be said to be more in the realm of the Ego, the concern of which is primarily the personal body. The problem is - if the natural world is spiritual and holy, it cannot be used as resource for Excess and Profit. Thus a Spirituality that reveres the natural world must be replaced, to accord with Excess and Profit called Religion.

Religion is here defined as pie in the sky, as else-where's celestial being, remote to empirical earth, God in heaven, and thus remote as spiritual connection with the planet, humans are free to exploit the earth to their marts content.

Excess and Profit requires soulless materialism as resource for its profit and thus could be said, Religion as abstract from the planet, is the child of Excess and Profit, where what matters is somewhere else. And the Identities as creations of the mind, can create soulless materialist selves multitudinous.

Since of the system of Excess and Profit, as Materialism without prohibitions on what, what-cannot be vehicles for resource, anything goes and a means of behavior control is necessary called Morality.

Morality is the prohibitive vehicle of Progressive Materialism in terms of human relations, in which the Progressive Evaluative System is utilized, as Consequence from inferior One to superior Ten, which determines how states, conditions, entities and individuals may be treated as moral methodology. Morality is prohibitions such as do not gossip, vandalize property, cheat or judge, but however there are always exceptions. Thou shall not kill except in self defence or in war. Ethics is defined as emphasizing prohibitions as opposed to volition.
