Know the truth
is but by empirical experience, as the only way to be sure. But we have arguments against that as well. One's what experience is not real some will argue. Or one's what experiences is untrue, by interpretation called subjective.

Truth is the accurate sensory recording of present circumstance, thinking and speaking. This means as accurate as the sensory system allows, and which would be agreed upon by a majority of sensory system's others.

Untruth is an inaccurate sensory registration of actuality, which may be true relative to the individual's ability to register accurately, but would not be agreed by a majority.

Untruth is an inaccurate recollection of actuality, as present circumstance, thoughts or words. Untruth is the ability to create by power of Present-time Intellection or thinking, in conjunction with memory, alternative representations of true mental and remembered replicas. This can be called such as imagination, fiction, untruth, wishful thinking, dreaming, fabrication or lying.

After empirical experience, it might be said that what the truth is most comprised is consistency. The basis for all truth is a consistency of being and change. Truth is absolutely necessary to the survival of any species in relation to its environment. A species must be able to rely on a consistency of reality, as the constancy of air, sun, water, and dynamics and habits of its prey. Consistency is the truth because it is a state and condition of actuality that can be relied on.

Any given species is also dependent upon the consistency of its own internal and external organs. The senses must consistently operate at a modicum; the heart and lungs must consistently operate and the eyes must see, the ears hear. Nature could be said to be truthful. This is because if anything, it is primarily consistent.

If nature is consistent and consistency is the truth, and if nature is conservative, the truth is also. Conservative nature means every changed state leaves a condition that supports the continuation of the pre-existent state, in a same or similar semblance. And every organic entity replicates itself in exact or near like form. The Conservative condition is what makes and what is consistency.

The model for truth is nature. The Truth is natural reality as whatever happens. There is no known comparative state to nature except human conception. By the power of human conception is the ability to create comparative states distinct from nature. This power takes it greatest form in progression, as the progressive creation of every aspect of human civilization. From this ability to create comparative states independent of the truth is the ability to create Untruth.

Most Untruth is the result of the conflict between what is actual and what is expected. Comparative states when standards of expectation are termed Authoritative Imperatives, to which people must or are expected to conform. It is in this expectation of conformity that is the origin of most Untruth.

Untruth or lying is generally adopted when an ideal state quality or condition, as a mental construct or image is more important than actuality, that does not correspond to the ideal.

Untruth is also necessary in human terms for story telling, dreaming, avoiding the consequences of past horrific events, imagination, creativity, escaping unpleasant reality and other useful purposes.

Ideal is always a progressed condition from something less progressed. Nature is the truth as qualities and conditions that consistently continue whether humankind exists or not. All ideal is progressed from the state of nature as a consistent base. If nature is the Truth then ideals created in opposition to it are Untruth.

These ideals as all the results and products of civilization are constructs that are more convenient, superior and considered of greater consequence than the reality of nature. Nature is more consistent than human created conditions, since nature will exist continuously on its own for eons, while human created anomaly needs the constant attention of repair and replacement without which it disappears.

Individuals may lie about their own infallibilities and weakness because they do not come up to progressed standards. Individuals will lie about their achievements if they do not meet standards expected for a particular station.

One of the most common forms of Untruth is when progressed ideal as standards, become authorities such as God, Mohamed or Buddha, one's government, culture and community, or specific institutions such as business or charity. These authorities may become more important than facts, evidence or Truth. In this case lying usually takes the form of what is called Authority Reasoning.

This means that the authority precedes evidence wherein only evidence that supports the authority is looked for and accepted, and where outright lying may be used to support the authority. This occurs most often and continuously in the field of politics at every level, and is an aspect of progressive Morality. Crime that supports the good is considered legit by many agencies of progressive Morality.

Untruth may not so much be intentional as it is that the authority is considered so important, that its antithesis as true reality may be denied and is pushed into the subconscious. These persons may be completely unaware that they lie continuously or that they live a life of Untruth.

Individuals may lie about their own infallibilities and weakness because they do not come up to progressed standards. Individuals will lie about their achievements if they do not meet standards expected for a particular station.

Untruth of course affects emotion, which if Consequence, as my dead grandmother is of consequence to me and much emotion, but not to you and little emotion. Untrue Consequence then affects emotion, which may be manipulated with fake news.

For those who have a high degree of emotion invested in untrue opinions, they are not likely to correct them. For many, Emotion gives validity to Untruth . The mother so loves her son that she refuses to accept that he is criminal. She will say, "I know my son, and he is not like that".

By the simple act of calling someone a child molester, an anti-Semite, a terrorist, a Putin puppet, engendering strong emotional animosity, no defense by the accused will be accepted.

There is also the manifestation of Untruth by necessity. Untruth such as lying for food or sex, for medicine and drugs, or for life when threatened or in danger. In many cases, this type of Untruth may be thought justified by compulsion, in which people may feel that they are without choice in the matter.

Truth is in the eye of the beholder. What is true for one is not for another. This indicates differences in taste, the sensory system itself, the environment, culture, various institutions, or even geography can produce differing perspectives of the Truth. People with psychiatric delusions have another kind of truth altogether, which may seem just as valid to them as any other kind of Truth. Even existence itself may be denied when considered as dream or illusion.

While the true individual loves the truth and tries always to be truthful, however this perspective is not wedded to it. Since Truth is relative to the individual and capacities for awareness, one might find that one might have to talk a different Truth to different people.

One might find that they would need to use degrees of Truth by omission, relative to their own and other's sense of it. However unlike the progressive materialist who may not hesitate to take advantage of using their version of the Truth as means of exploitation, like that Edgar Allen Poe's death was not due to alcoholism, but was a lie made up by religious temperance fanatics to scare people into abstinence; or that the need for war was a lie because it was assumed that the people would not otherwise be capable of understanding its necessity.
