I remember the only one over to help was a retired guy from Hawaii who lived on a sail boat there he said. He was really interesting. He was the only one who would walk all over the site picking up the garbage. He told me he had worked for AT&T most of his career in intelligence. Said he had been in Libya and did some work for Gaddafi and maybe was the only person I have every met who had some sympathy for Gaddafi and the Libyan people. Said he made a lot of money on the stock market. Said he worked in New York city for a long time and took the train to and from work from Long Island or some-place. Said he would study the stock page everyday in and out from work and got to know it that way. I told him my phones used to be tapped and there were telephone workers on the poles all the time. He said that is not the way you tap phones. They do it from the main terminals not pole sitters in transient neighbor-hoods like that. I had told him the neighborhood was in San Francisco but not which one, and always wondered how he knew the neighborhood was transient. But then he may have just been referring to the type of people they would be watching. Seemed a really good guy. I started down the road a mile or so thinking I was heading to this place and the truck began acting funny so I turned around. Never have figured out if I was in the vicinity of that camp site or not.

At another point on a long climb in the timber country and green conifers, the truck was acting funny again, so I did not regret my decision to continue heading home.
