The Principle Interpreter can be the Ego, and any one of a number of Identities or an Ipseity. The profession and Identity of bank manager conflicts with her Ego desire to be a mother. The Principle Interpreter is the Identity, if she sticks with the bank, or the Ego if she goes to motherhood. The Principle Interpreter as an Ipseity is a priest or minister.
Thus mind-created Identities may correspond or be in conflict with the
Ego. A
Correspondent Identity would be more or less in harmony with the
Ego. For example if a woman could be said to be more Ego based because child rearing is so body oriented, then the Identities of nurse, midwife, grade school teacher or housewife would more or less correspond to the feminine body and Ego. A
Conflicting Identity would be a mind-created personification or Identity, that is in conflict to the natural predilections of the body and thus Ego. For Instance the Identity of party-animal may not be conducive to the body's need for sleep, proper diet, relaxation, quiet and domestic relationships and thus be in conflict.
Ego:
The Ego as the associational history of the body in its environment, is
associational content derived from the observation of that world, perceived through the context of a particular body like human or animal. A first consideration of the Ego may be that it is
Conservative. The
definition of Conservative here means: all natural change, as
transformation or destruction, is defined as promoting the existence of
tandem pre-existent states changed in identical or near like form. The human body is a product of the natural world. This means the natural
activity and behavior of the body preserves itself in like form, except when attacked by disease and age.
