By the Ego one might say, 'I like wine'. By the Identity of a gourmet, where the objective is to drink only the best wines, one might say 'I like Sauvignon blanc' of particularly such and such a brand. Or as a further instance, the Identity of a macho beer drinker may disdain the eating of a peach, even though it maybe agreeable to the body or Ego. The dynamics and relationships of the this-world Ego and Identities make up the theory of Metaphysical Psychology, and which also theorizes that the same dynamics apply on the spiritual level as well as a universal entity of cognizance. This universal entity is called the Soul Psyche, the composition of which is comprised wholly of elements of the Negative Dimension, as the dynamic of the Ego, the Thinking-I, any number of Identities, and the possible creation of Transcendent Identity, meaning an Identity transcended from the limitations of the physical or an Ipseity.

The pure Ego absent Identities would represent a collection of associations as pertains to the body, influenced and controlled by the specific genes, biology and propensities of the physical organism, some aspects of which are universal to everyone and some only applicable individually. Universal commonalities are such things as the need of air, food and water, or the commonalities of pleasure, pain and various sensations. Examples of individual dissimilarities are such things as varying susceptibilities to disease, pollen, varying chemicals or the difference between tastes in food and drink. There is one body and thus the Ego's Interpretive Context is all associations that pertain to body experience.
