His brother was about the same age maybe a little younger, short, bald, white side-walls, always wore a white short-sleeve shirt, sometimes a white lab coat, and always magnifying glasses strapped to his head used in conjunction with his bi-focal glasses. He had a little white moustache. Fritz was the engineer, who designed and produced the machinery of production and the products produced in conjunction with the plant foreman. Whenever Mr. Miller came into the plant from his office, a trumpeter proceeded him, his brother or someone. Mr. Miller is coming, Mr. Miller is coming. Everyone had to put on a straight face. He brought around customers mostly and sometimes maybe friends and a relative or two.

They moved Shorty in on my machines. I was so bored I was just doing writing of some kind, I cannot remember what the problem probablly, and was getting neglectful of my duties which were nearly nil as everything was in flux. It was the winter holiday season of 1962 and New Year's would be '63. There was a Christmas party in the shipping room. I was a beer drinker and never drank hard liqueur and made the mistake of drinking Vodka. Nick, a new employee about the same age as myself - we left together and went to Libertyville main-street, where I sometimes ate lunch. May of had my usual Open-Face Roast Beef Sandwich with mash potatoes and all covered in gravy. I had to go to the toilet at some point where I managed to get down a wide stairway very quickly by falling and rolling horizontally all the way down. I was uninjured and at some point we went to his mother's tavern called the Slide Inn, which was a big hangout for drinking age young adults.
