MetaProperties:
A proper Part produces Products external to itself for use of the Whole, and is Conservative producing what is necessary, no more no less. A Progressive Part produces Products not for the Whole but for itself and related contingencies. The Whole represents the
MetaProperty All as altruism and the Part represents the MetaProperty One as self centeredness.
The MetaProperties All and One are determatives. People will generally choose at some point one or the other. In the literature the three temptations of Christ could be analogous to choosing between works for the All, and for the self as One encouraged by the Devil.
Correlative with the Part as One is Progression,
Monotheism,
Monarchy,
Patriarchy, Capitalism and Fascism.
Monotheism is the One, elite, greatest, elevated from the common. Monarchy is the same as a secular God. Patriarchy again a single titular head. Capitalism is private self-interested property, and Fascism derives from the single centered concentration of wealth and power.
Psychology:
Determination can be said to be quite fundamental to the personality of the individual. The Whole is likened to the All and the Part is related to the One. In the realm of Psychology, the Whole and All are likened to the
Ego, and the Part and One are parallel to the
Identities. The primary function of the Ego as first personality is to interpret reality from the context of what is of Consequence to the body. Cautiously the Ego picks its way thru the muck and mire ever attentive for signs of quicksand.
