The definition of Conservative would be said to mean the Whole explains the Part which contributes to whatever the definition of the Whole should be, such as roots of a tree or fins of a fish. Earth would explain all of its Parts if indeed anyone knew what the Earth was. So they create God, a Whole which explains all. The largest known Whole is a Galaxy containing billions of solar systems as Parts. Can the Part explain the Whole ?
Progressive Paradigm:
The Progressive Paradigm is said to be analogous to the Part which produces Products external to themselves as some contribution to the Whole. If the tree produces oxygen external to itself as a Part, whatever that oxygen is of benefit for is a larger Whole, or all oxygen dependent life such as rabbits and eagles. The Part defines the Whole as life.
The Progressive Paradigm is based on the concept of
Finite Determination, which means the creation of results and products as altered states, which construe and explains the activity and behavior of change. The Part produces Products which explains change. If Products produced continue pre-existence as same or similar, the Products are called Conservative. If the Products produced discontinue pre-existence as something distinct, and which is considered better or superior than pre-existence, it is called Progressive.
The Progressive Paradigm coincides with the dynamics of the Part. But rather than a Part integral and conformant to the Whole, the Progressive Part is often individualistic, self-centered, often anti-community and anti-whole. The Progressive Part derives from Excess & Profit and takes the form of
Capitalism, wherein rather than the
Socialism of the Whole, the Part serves private, exclusive and elite
self-serving interests.
