It is so liberal
protecting the people from themselves, like cigarettes no smoking. And they will lie and I have been lied to in person, to save myself from myself. Lying for the good is the way it begins. Of course the reprobates they seek to save are smarter than they are, and no better what the truth is, and so the goody two-shoes looses all credibility. The alcohol abolitionists and drug wars, all to keep graft in well to-do straights.

Apparently journalism now has been and is being re-defined in a manner more in conformance with journalism as described in the book "1984" by George Orwell. The duty of journalism is now to report not so much what is deemed as the truth but what is best and least harmful to the public to protect them from themselves, by the liberal educated so much more informed than the great unwashed and know no better.

And is all of this to be accomplished by the new Ministries of Truth, like war propaganda, "Loose lips sink ships" ? which is all as it used to be before the internet when journalism was honest but only in school, and I was a media major, now regulated not by rich capitalist owners but Ministries of Propaganda.

I am not smart enough or capable of discerning the truth myself so as a service to my mental well-being and integrity I will be allowed only to see the truth as they say. And if I say I have seen personally three flying saucers, the Ministry of Truth should be there to tell me what I really saw, satellites or the earth orbiter.

Will they soon be there as well with a psychiatrist and a prescription for a lifetime of truth drugs complements of the drug industry. Now we know what the drug consortium version of the truth is. What sells more drugs. Not rocket science. That is the arms dealers.

Well actually what if it is that no-one knows what the truth is. That is an easy one. Look at science. Almost everything science has ever said has turned out to be wrong. The truth for perhaps most people is what supports their bottom line. Money is truth. Money under the table is graft which changes the truth of the judges verdict. "Don't bite the hand that feeds you".

Right - today there are a thousand books on how to eat-right, how to live long, how to make money, how to be happy, how to tell to the truth, and how many of them are right ? Guaranteed not many.

Mark Twain once said assuming a new job as editor of a newspaper, I shall endeavor to tell the truth in my editorials to the extent that I will stay out of jail.

Who killed JFK ? The Ministry of Truth says Oswald. But nobody believes that. Did fire knock three high-rise steel frame buildings down in one day on 9/11 when never in history has another steel frame building ever fallen from fire. The Ministry of Truth says yes. The Ministry says that the whole of the entire universe of which the size they do not know, was contracted into the size of a basketball just before the Big Bang. Am I an idiot ?

Only idiots tell the truth. The Military Industrial Complex spent taxpayer socialist trillions on un-needed weapons against evil socialist cold-war Russia, and when Russia collapsed - suddenly Arab terrorists sprang into action, and when the Arab terrorism weapons market sales to both sides reached it's zenith, suddenly Russia is the new enemy again.

It would have been China except the Empire shipped all its jobs overseas, and had to import cheap Chinese and Asian products to stay afloat. O they are brilliant in their self-greed. What does the Ministry of Truth have to say ? Nothing they never heard of it. Freedom, democracy and flags on their lapels and you know then it is a pirate.

I am too dumb to know the truth. Where did I get my education ? If I got it from the US media my IQ must be equivalent to a dog. So I need an authority to tell me what is right and what is wrong. Some woman who has never been out of the suburbs superbs in her life.

But what is really dangerous, although simply a return to where it was before the internet, is if by algorithm they can censor the net-news to limit what we can see to what they approve of which we already know - what they approve of - lies lies and more lies like take the Trump Russian election conspiracy conspiracy. Where is the beef ?

Take how the media has lied the American people into every war since the Revolution. If it's capitalist news it is for the most part a lie. Capitalist media is anti-socialist, anti-worker, anti-union, anti-commons, anti broader community. Capitalist media is pro-elite, pro-monarchy, pro-oligarchy, pro-war, pro-money, pro-hierarchy and pro-corporation.
