If the concept of the Unconscious were thought of in terms of the Replica Theory, or that the planetary physical existence as whole, resembled and was in actuality a larger Greater or spiritual Will, a theory could be constructed in which the sensory mechanism of this Will, could be considered as the living aspects of nature itself. All life limited in terms of Will, such as all vegetable matter and all animal life might be considered as performing the function of a planetary sensory apparatus. In terms of the greater mind, this apparatus would store its manifold sensory information in an unconscious level which would be called the Astral Plane, or the unconscious of the Greater Will. This capacity would correlate nature to the Unconscious in the parallel that its sensory recordings, by all life except human, would be true and accurate accounts, unfiltered and not subject to all the many alterations and subjectivities of a conscious mentality with an ego. Like the human Unconscious that records all the senses of the body automatically, nature is automatic and the perception of all its myriad life forms would seem more than likely precise. Since all animals and insects have some degree of feeling and since it is even fairly proven that plants have feeling as well, this would resemble a sensory system if it were shown to be connected to a non-physical plane of memory or the Astral Plane. Nature could be said to be a realm of feeling in terms of living creatures and not so much that of conscious thought as is the human Unconscious.

Following this theory, the capacity of the conscious mind of humankind could be considered as some aspect of the consciousness of the Greater Will. Each individual would be a singular aspect of that capacity. And the collective conscious mind of all humanity could be considered some aspect of the the collective Will and ego, of the greater mind or Greater Will. Thus there would have to be considered the possibility of a greater ego or conscious mind on the non-physical plane, independent of the Astral level or greater Unconscious, as an independent non-material and greater ego which may be both individual and collective in its construct.
