The greater memory might recall details that the conscious has forgotten, or did not register in the first place. The greater observational capabilities may notice very slight and subtle indications taking place in present circumstance that the conscious mind, occupied in normal duties or conversation misses. The unconscious may register very subtle vibration-like sensations, such as feelings, body movements, energy or even
sometimes thoughts being put out by others, that comment on the circumstance.
This ability of intuition may reflect the precise and subtle abilities of the unconscious, and or it may indicate some ability of clairvoyance. If the unconscious possesses the facility of premonition, clairvoyance, or the ability to foresee the future, there may be good reason that this ability is not accessible to the conscious mind. There are certainly good reasons for such capability, such as the ability to foresee danger and negative things in the future. However to know the future would in essence be to negate the present and much freedom of choice. If one knew the outcome of any action in present, such as unsuccessful result, this would negate the to doing of it. The knowledge of say the date of one's death would affect all present experience and decisions. If the future were known with precision, then decision and action that would attempt to alter it would be futile, and thus only that action which would lead to that known destiny would be valid, making all present experience the mechanics of a machine.
The subconscious is considered to have specific utilities and powers that the conscious mind may be unaware. These facilities expand from the normal limitations of the conscious, such as perfect memory, or inklings of the future. These facilities if utilized, might increase the powers of the conscious identity. However the conscious mind does not seemingly have control of the unconscious. One in general, cannot control when or why the unconscious mind is activated into the conscious field. One cannot seemingly control when, things like intuition, feelings of pretence, indications of the future that are perhaps manifested as a string of good luck, will occur. These manifestations generally seem to happen at random.
