She said yes, and so he got on his knees and she prayed over him. There would be a change in him, a long lasting and significant change she prayed. And indeed, an unrelated very fortunate change did come-to-pass. He was in love with her. She was engaged to be married. She even had a ring, and was wearing makeup these last few outings. He said he never understood make-up. And she said, "You are not a woman". He thought, what if she had a falling-out with her boy-friend. Could he live with her ? He thought about her. He didn't care - that one intellectual flaw; she had a good mind. She was so loving. Right a pipe-dream. Someone to be in love with. And she was above him. He loved her over him. However she would never allow it. Poof !

"Morning." "Morning Joe." "Another nice one." "Haven't seen you for a bit." "Been busy. Always something to do. Went to a basketball game last night." "What kind of basketball?" "High-school, my grandson." And he says Good Morning to someone going by. He is a regulator greeter and a babe-magnet.

Was called Formosa until it got main-landed by the Chinese, demanding its proper Chinese name, changed to Taiwan, and claimed it back from the American idiom. At some point politically, he became aware that there must have been people indigenous to the island, that were there before Chiang Kai-shek and his shy-lock mobsters, who in-fluxed, and took-over Formosa as we knew it.
