Political action is the decisions one makes. It is how one lives one's life. Political action is making choices and how one will live. Political action is learning and knowing the truth and making decisions based on that truth. Political action is refusing to be a simple moron. If one is of the opinion that the political, cultural, economic or religious systems they inhabit are not representative of one's view, then one can be politically active by choosing to live in a manner not in accordance with the norm, and that more conforms with one's convictions.
To be politically active one may change one's manner of living to accord to
one's political philosophy.
In accordance with the values of environmentalism, ecology and the
philosophy of
Conservative Spirituality, one's political actions can be an integral aspect
of one's perspective and activity of living. Individual political action is not so much expected to accomplish change in the system, as it is a sense of personal integrity, ethical demeanor and honor, of which one takes pride and identifies oneself. This individual does not support the ever economic expansion of better
living standards, without control of the human birth rate, wherein the human population is in an ever expanding state must always be progressive, requiring ever more and greater exploitation of a finite environmental resource and the
ever increasing destruction of the environmental whole. Every new home is
sooner or later a baby factory.
One can choose the way one will live, what one eats and where they will buy
it, what one will wear and drive, where they will purchase and whether it shall
be used or new. As a matter of health if nothing else one might eat, to the
greatest extent possible, only fresh foods, and if possible no processed foods.
Fresh foods should be as natural as possible or as natural as one can afford,
avoiding all chemicals, antibiotics, hormones and considering how the animals are as raised, namely as free and clean as possible. Fast food should be avoided,
in the interest of health of both the self and the planet. One can to the greatest extent possible, buy used clothes, furniture and cars and all manner of necessities and frills from thrift stores, garage sales and swap meets.
