Of a great many people that may comprise of movement, and the communities of which are created around them, generally only a small number become known or famous, and often the chronicle of the greater community organism is lost to history.

Movements occur periodically and will continue to reoccur. Movements are governed by a criterion of dynamics, that when they exist, a movement may come about. Movements are usually based on new ideas, ideals and conviction that may be economic, religious, political, sometimes philosophical or may be artistic, and that are not recognized by the established culture. A movement will begin with a small number of people who share the same ideas, and who will gather in a particular location. The place is established by a group of forerunners who create and establish the intellectual, spiritual or aesthetic concepts. New movements are almost always in the category described by the concept of Alternate Polarities. Thus they are usually not truly revolutionary, representing a new paradigm, but rather simply substitute new Metaphysical Ideals for old.

The location of a movement's origins will be a cheap place to live. The people who are attracted to the movement are generally young, or have left the security of their former lives, and do not have much if any money. The location as well as being a cheap place to live, will ideally have the facility of part time work. Members of the movement will need money, but will want to spend as little time as possible in its obtainment, being more concerned with living the ideals of the movement. The philosophy, if it is not a labor movement, will often be concerned with principle, as opposed to monetary interest. However if the philosophy of the movement remains an Alternate Polarity, as substitute Metaphysical Ideals, their will exist a progressive dynamic of individuals seeking power, prestige, fame and money. A particular contingent of this group will not be so much interested in the ideas in and of themselves, but in the use of these ideas, for progressive individual achievement. Inherent in movements, that have for ideals and principles, progressive Alternate Polarities, is the downfall of the movement.
