Metaphysical

The Metaphysical-I is thought to have greater awareness especially in terms of the future. This manifestation might be said to account for some or all clairovoyance. From an old episode of 'Route 66', a character steals credit cards and buys four train, four plane and four bus tickets, in four different directions, all leaving at the same time. The point being that to make one choice is deny all the other choices, one of which might be the salvation of one's life, and some decision of which could affect the course of one's entire life. So how does one make the correct decision in terms of long range time considerations? If one decides that the Thinking-I cannot predict the future, then perhaps the idea would be to allow the Metaphysical-I to do it.

A further manifestation of the Memory Dictate is the concept of the Idiot-Savant. The Idiot-Savant is a double Identity, one as moron and the other as genius; two roles which balance each others weaknesses. The genius role cannot or should not, by it's very definition be dumb, and the idiot by definition cannot or should not be all that smart. The purpose of the Idiot is to create experience that the Savant by definition of the role would prohibit itself. The purpose of the Savant is a repository for knowledge and that of someone who knows a great deal about a great many things, a good deal of which is derived from the fumblings of the Idiot.

The means to which the Savant becomes such, is through the use of the Idiot character role. The Idiot is an admitted moron and takes pride in the character. The Idiot knows nothing. The Idiot has to learn everything from scratch. The Idiot does not remember. The Idiot approaches selected circumstance as if for the first time, and which must be learned anew and fresh each time. The Idiot makes every mistake through which the Savant learns what is right and for what reasons. The Idiot tries things the Savant is too intelligent to attempt, and thus discovers things that were not thought possible. The Idiot represents the ordinary individual and the mentality of which they may approach the world. The Idiot does things over and over again differently, because it is forgotten how it was done before, and each time and from which something new may be learned. The Idiot is something akin to the character of the fool or ombudsman.

The character of the Idiot is deliberate. If the Savant approaches the world with intended deft and swauvity always efficient, using knowledge in a proficient way, much of this due to and learned from the Idiot. The Idiot encourages bad memory which is an asset, like being able to read or see one's favorite books or movies over and over. The Idiot can see the world as continually fresh, with much always seemingly new and interesting. The Savant puts all the knowledge learned from the Idiot to use by organizing, analyzing and prioritizing. The Savant is the director doing the logical analysis of what is learned. The Savant decides what roles the Idiot should play in reference to context of knowledge achievement. The Savant comes to realize the similarities, connections, correspondences parallels between all the different areas of experience and becomes interested in everything. The Idiot is a means to see the world as continually fresh.
