Thus the individual would be said to be detached from the body and a creature of mind. Religion which de-means the body and its base-needs and desires, creates Identities as sanctimonious new-born in opposition to body and Ego. Modern mental health is to improve the Identity but not often to rediscover the Ego.
Identities are said to contain their own Emotional dynamics.
Emotion is defined as sensory
response with
Consequential Value significant to the accordant Identity. The loss of a great deal of money will engender a greater emotional response than the loss of a little amount of money.
One may show significant Emotional trauma for the loss of one's own pet of great significance to the self, but not so much the same situation of others. Since one's own body is significant to the self, and the Consequence of the self would promote Emotion, the Ego is said to inherently contain a strong emotional content and to be emotionally oriented, however a different form of response called Natural Affection.
Identities carry or have built into them emotional content. Identities with differing consequential dynamics would exhibit different emotional response. While most same sex bodies are fairly similar and thus the Emotional response of the Ego also, as a man happy in a hardware store, Identities can be exceedingly different.
When one adopts or creates an Identity one generally assumes the emotional content contained therein accordant to the Consequence that is inherent in any given Identity. A Musician, Dancer, Artist, Comedian, Army parachuter, Pro athlete, ER doc or nurse, Fire-fighter, Cop or Runway
Model are all Identities which would contain various differing emotional make-up, in that the dynamic of Consequence would be different in each case.
