The individual may interpret reality through any number of Identities simultaneously or over time, such as the identities of athlete, student, artist, card shark, father/mother or hospital volunteer.
Identities are the creation of mandates as Interpretive Contexts and Personifications which define the type of
Interpretation one will give to reality, as specific selection of Association. Identities are said to be the creation and personification of objectives, which are developed into characterization. The artist may associate the tree to ideas for drawing and painting. The tree trimer contractor may see it as how it should be shaped and manicured. The Identities are mandates for how one thinks, acts, behaves and conducts oneself for what is of
Consequence and consequently for what one is aware of in ordinary reality.
It could be said that the Ego is akin to the driver of a van and the Identities
generally sit in the back, like back-seat drivers who take over the driving when the Identity is called into action. Or the Identities would be furthered likened to layers of clothes worn over the Ego, each one taking over command of the vehicle as called for, and wherein the Ego and any given Identity can operate nearly simultaneously and in co-ordination. Identities out of coordination with the Ego can cause deleterious conflicts between mind and body.
The concepts of Ego and Identities may be described by the concepts of the Whole and the Part.
The Ego as interpreter in the Context of the body is corresponded to the Whole, or the body is a Whole complete in itself.
