But still I thought cards must be one of the most popular games of all-time. And I found that gambling games was the most fun and interesting of the word games I created at least a dozen.
Again how I came across this guy - no idea, but I think it one-hundred dollars, a one-time class and he would show us how to get rich. He was an inventor with lots of invention stories, was primarily what the class was about. And he had many inventions himself so he knew the field. He had I believe a sixty step process for the invention - from idea, to a model, written description, copyright or patent, trademark, financing, sale of the idea and when all was said and done, I think I got conned again. But I was able to give him my card game which is what I paid all that money for and the gist of the critique was - the action is all in video games now. You are wasting your time.
Then again some years later when I was living in Fremont, I thought the card games would be great on-line and any number of cards could be used in a deck, since the cards would be virtual and not dealt by hand.
And of gambling games, the house takes a commission. So I set to work to make a virtual card table with four to six player places.
I had to learn PHP code and get a code editor. However I could not get it to work and was heavily involved with my own philosophy and web-site, so I took it as a sign to stick with what I was doing as this on-line game thing would become all consuming.
