The locals
or working, as well as the middle class, this latter living in La La Land politically, ignorant ga ga, having never worked in a factory or any job that provides them all the necessities and infrastructure of life, such as water, light, power, plumbing, heat and cooling, and liberals that they are, multi-cultural inclusivity is their middle name these days, but they are not inclusive of those who support the basic necessities of life.
The middle class dislikes the working class yahoos, hunters and fishermen, trucks and muscle cars, Dirty Where-be movies, country music or urban rap,
sports fans and beer drinkers, dress down and smoke it up.
In the Progressive system the whole idea is to feel superior to those below one on the Progressive Scale of Evaluation, the five, sixes and sevens superior to the fours, threes, twos and ones, or fours and threes above two's who are above ones.
The locals buy national or from those companies that hire home country labor. For the middle class, the important thing is to buy what shows one to be the strata of middle class that they are, the latest from Paris or Peru, the going thing. Traditionally the middle class doesn't care whether the locals have jobs. They don't think about it. But today, it is local grown produce owned and operated by the middle class.
The locals are under-educated and don't understand the workings of government, the secret clubs, societies and sodality of the capitalists and middle classes they are excluded. They don't know how to behave, too loud, different interests, perhaps have never read a book in their lives, and wouldn't understand the conversation that more money buys.
The locals shop the general store, of three brands of each product, generally good quality for what it is, and use hydrogen peroxide as an antiseptic instead of the doctor's antibiotics that he gets a cut from the drug companies for proscribing. The locals buy practical for the money and too much junk food. The middle class shop the boutiques, gallerias, marts, superettes, cache depots and entrepots, and eat grass fed beef, un-antibiotized eggs and poultry, and everything more expensive organic.
The locals in all likely hood go to church, which is not much help in the material world unless for the charity, but if little reward in this world, the promise is a big raise in the next.
The sophisticates don't go to church, unless it is some-sort of fad cult, headed by a genius of sorts Svengali, who has a different hip-take on religion or spirituality, and seems highly intelligent, educated sophisticateze.
Insensitivity sensitivity to others, noisy party quiet party, educational levels high school compared to college. Inherent in progressive capitalism is the class system, mostly affecting the general public by affordability.
There are in any Capitalist culture but two basic political parties, as one for owners and one for workers. The owners control most of the money so where capital buys political positions the capitalists control politics. If a democracy, the workers outnumber the owners, who use their money to disenfranchise the workers by control of the mass information.
The middle class sits between the two, oblivious of it all, even to the extent in these modern times, to even realize they live in an empire, and of course they don't realize there is such a thing as classes and class division. They just want to be friends, of a feather.
The division of neighbor. The working and middle impasse. Everybody owns. Nobody owns. The people want to own, want to work for reward. The meaning of life, something more than was before and own it.
But can't take it with, that is the material world. But what I have I can take, as other dimensional knowledge of the memory. Well better is the chance than forty acres and a mule. Or as image like knowledge, as image maybe one can take it with. Plow that field of dreams. You are an owner now, but you have to plow it yourself, for there is no labor in heaven for the hire.
