Semiotic Language can used as a means of communication for the purposes of obtaining knowledge. Empirical Knowledge is the study of ideas and concepts as an active engagement in real experience. This is like if one were to wonder to what extent one would risk their own safety to aid someone else, and the problem is solved when one finds themselves in a circumstance in which they are called upon to do so. The interpretation here is that spiritual agencies produced the event as a teaching aid and answer to a question. If one were to begin to ask questions, concerning things like the nature of reality or of human and other existence, and then one could themselves become involved in real experience which illustrated and indicated the answers to such questions, then as a means of learning it would be quite beneficial. It goes without saying that one would have to be careful about the questions asked. As the saying goes, "The only thing worse than not getting what you want is getting what you want".

Another form of Semiotic Language is mechanisms of chance. These are such things as the flip of the coin to determine simple yes or no solutions. Other methods as ancient and traditional techniques of divination, are such things as the throw of sticks and coins like the method of the I Ching, or the use of cards like the Tarot, and innumerable other methods, some fairly benign such as tea leaf reading, and others employing gruesome methods of involuntary sacrifice.
