Thus there may be the necessity that in so far as the essential operation of the material world is concerned, there is no place for Will, that could decide for its own non-existence, which could forever never be rescinded. Thus there may be explained the necessity of a separate level for Will, independent of the necessity of perfect consistency, like the difference between the mind and heart. This separate level might consist in the opposite of the physical world, as a plane in which replications or creations could be altered and alternatives substituted, deposited, deleted, re-introduce or replaced.
The Replica Theory is the speculative introduction of Will, that may by necessity be necessary to exist on another or non-material plane from the physical universe. As with the human memory, discussed in the dissertation
Memory Self, by means of a replica or double that is non-physical, alterations could be made that if instituted
into the material world might be able to cause specific
changes in the circumstance and landscape of the physical plane.
The replica-double, comparative state, or what would be like
a memory of the physical world, would be a means to conceive
of alternatives, and to posit infinite variables to a fixed physical world, perhaps incapable of Will on its own. Thus there would be the physical world and non-physical or
Astral Plane,
as a place or replica where things could be altered to create alternatives, as volitional expression, and the physical world where those alternatives could be actuated. The replica might be a vehicle to pose alternatives to, what would otherwise be an automatic physical world, and also to other alternatives themselves as in the case of thinking, where alternatives to
ideas may be posed. However there may be limitations to the degree of Will possible, perhaps determined by the means of which Will is or can be actualized. For instance if Will could only be actualized on the physical plane, by means of physically living entitles, then that Will would be limited
to the abilities of living things to create change. Or if
Will could influence something such as what may affect an entire planet as a whole, then this ability may be
compartmentalized and restricted to that planet, and
not to a larger sphere such as a galaxy.
