This is termed Corrupt Government and usually takes the form of dictatorship in which corruption may be rampant throughout the society. The preferred form of Corrupt Authoritarianism is Monarchy in which elite status and class distinction are institutionalized.

Altruistic Authoritarianism is fascist government, the purpose of which is to promote elitist goals and ambitions for the society as a whole and for the citizen in general. The elitism of Altruistic Authoritarianism pertains to the superiority of systems which are incorporated into government policy and function for the purpose of producing a superior society as a whole. Examples are religious states which promote specific religious doctrines; Communism in which the state is supposed to promote ideals for equitable social relations as opposed to elitist; and sometimes military rule as the benevolent dictator.

When the government is constituted such that it does not support the particular Authoritative Dictates of a particular elitist constituency, that constituency may be opposed to the government. Right Wing in this sense means those in favor of less government. These constituencies may be the wealthy elite and monarchists, those who want religious states or those who want states founded on ideals of racial or cultural purity and superiority. These groups fall into basically two categories, as those which are at the top of the class structure and those toward the bottom. Those at the top may attempt to control the government for their own advantage so as to maintain or increase their superior advantage. Those toward the bottom in general may tend to support systems of hierarchy even though they may be angry and resentful that they themselves are not on the top. Because they themselves are elitist minorities, believing that they and the philosophy they espouse is superior, when needing someone to blame for their inferior social status cannot blame the system itself nor the benefactors of that system, but have a propensity to scapegoat others for their lesser status, usually those below them, in which the inferior as opposed to superior is the root of all evil. Some of the forms that these groups take are nationalism and patriot, paramilitary, religious, cult, or what may be called hate groups.
