On the other hand this theory would have the Identities as mental constructs which interpret reality primarily from the Context of the personification of objectives. This would be any occupation, hobby or way of doing things such as
taxi driver, produce manager, farmer or weekend warrior.
In the west and especially as advocated by Monotheism, the Ego is given negative connotations and is associated with such as self, self-pride, self-admiration, selfdom or egotism. Because the body has needs, and especially sexual, the body and Ego is tied to those needs and may be considered as carnal, coarse, common, contaminated or corrupt particularly by Religion. And thus the Identity is the key to freedom and transcendence.
The Identity is any personification of any given objective in which the individual must think and act and play a part as that which produces objectives. Thus Identities fit well with the Progressive Paradigm as the production of Excess & Profit as its objective. The Identity is a product of the mind and thus can be anything the body can accomplish or pretend. He decided to quit pretending, become a lawyer and enrolled in law school.
