Authority Reasoning
Foundation Reasoning means that conclusions are derived from grounds, foundation, facts, evidence and premises as given and collected, to which the conclusion should be derived regardless of the personal predilections of the reasoner.
Authority Reasoning means to reason not from evidence, facts or premises but from authority such as generalization, conclusion, principle, proposition or standards of such as God, Icons, experts, specialists, authoritative agreement and the like. The foremost authority of Progressive Materialism is the Metaphysical Ideal, as the perfect Part producing an ascendant Product. Is there heaven? No evidence, but the authority of the Bible reads so, no evidence needed.
Foundation reasoning is the rational from the Whole, which consists in a community of individuals and their well-being, and thus logic and reasoning has to be based on facts, evidence, substantiation to ensure the welfare of the All of the Whole. Authority Reasoning is the rational of the Part, wherein the individual or the few, as self-interested superiority is not necessarily concerned with the truth, or with lesser beings, but with their own self-being and will accept any supporting rational and reasoning that supports their ideology and will call it Authority. It happens every day, if not every minute, that authorities or experts in the field take money to give false credibility to the money giver.

The Monoism of Progressive Materialism and Monotheism, due to Authority Reasoning and the singularity or ascendancy of supreme beings, who might be very smart and intelligent concerning what concerns themselves, but very stupid about what concerns everyone else, as Authority Reasoning dismisses all evidentiary knowledge, and where there is no need to intellectually examine inferior peoples different from themselves, except as what is necessary to exploit them. Evil is so stupid that it sincerely believes that it is God's gift to great goodness. The Whole has and is an overview of the entire workings of itself, overall knowledge. The Part understands itself and the Product it produces, but more often than not, no idea of the big picture on the ground, except as its own self glorified self and ambitions.
