Thus in contrast to the particular rationale that underlies their profit motive, or feeding a hungry world, the farmer cannot replenish crops from plants already grown, but must buy new seed every season. This of course is a real boon to the feeding of the masses in places where farmers cannot afford to buy seed. Although these people claim to be humanitarians, much of this engineering is purely for financial gain, for instance patents on living organisms. If the allowance of this technology does not indicate the total corruption of US government then what does? The US political selection process is totally corrupt. The industries these politians will be overseeing and regulating will financially back their campains. The sole purpose of these patents is profit. They will be wanting to create plants, animals and fish, no matter what it is, just so long at they can
own a patent with its possibilities of profits. The worst of all possible scenarios has occurred in the meeting of the Mundane Consciousness of the
Materialist mentality and sophomoric intelligence, with technology that alters the living planetary existence, other examples of which are unknown in the universe. One could conclude that better an end to it all before it is screwed up forever, but apparently there must still somehow exist 10 or 12 honest persons.
Where has the US media, the vaunted watchdog of the people, been in all this? Nowhere. Not a single mention of the fact that genetic engineered food was in
the marketplace until four years after the fact. Apparently they have been too
busy running down OJ, Clinton, Condit and Osama bin Laden. And what
coverage since they have bothered to inform us that many of our vegetables
are engineered? Almost none save the couple of instances of corn mixup. And where is the Food and Drug Administration, the government watchdog agency that oversees food production and safety? They have allowed this engineering without labeling and without ever telling the public of what they were consuming. In who's interest do they serve here? Obviously not the people.
