Thus the problems that arise, may derive from an emotional intensity that
accompanies the experience. However the greater the emotional involvement
the greater the sense of consequence. And the greater the sense of consequence, the greater is the sense of the realness, involvement and responsibility. If it is understood that what is termed
Emotion is the product of Consequential Value, or what the individual
considers to be of consequence, some understanding of the concept of
what is called Natural Affection
might be of some benefit. Problems of instability may also be mitigated, by not taking the experience or oneself too seriously and becoming egotistically or egomaniacally involved, which admittedly may be hard to do.
If the individual has power, this force is assumed to be put into affect from
some mechanism as thought, emotion or action. Thought or prayer would
not seem and option since the control of thought would be very difficult if
not an impossibility, although this is a practice in some disciplines. The complete
control of emotion may relegate the individual to an inhuman like state, and all freedom and the joy of being an ordinary person would be forfeited, such that the individual is a mere vehicle of ends, and as such controlled by objectives. Thus some type of action would seem more appropriate, as perhaps some ritualized
activity, following on due intellectual assessment and or consultation with some form of muse or system such as the I Ching, that would require especial intention,
and thus inhibit the possibility of acting on impulse and emotion. However in this case the person may become concerned with the control of one's actions by others, such as individuals, employers, organizations and institutions, or seemingly innocuous remunerations in terms of money, status or promotion
of one's agendas. Cause and affect may induce one to become superstitious
and to avoid specific seeming triggers. This too is something that interfere with the normal pursuit of being a person, and lends itself to a state similar to that of the worship of idols. The importance of being regular person is that a special and elite persona that would seem to accord with singular powers, will not necessarily contribute to the formation of expansive consciousness in which the greatest knowledge and wisdom would occur. The elite individual may tend to become self-absorbed and act in the interest of the self and special agencies.
