And yet another enhancement might be the achievement
of the state of
Enlightenment, which is an experience with similarities
to some of the aspects of what is called the Seventh Plane
of the Greater Existence. Perhaps in terms of Detachment, what this experiences teaches is the singularity and oneness of the all of existence, and that the Individual Ego is part and at one with this whole.
Another advantage of the Detached state of mind may for a greater allowance for a communicative connection to be made with a Spiritual Self or selves. A more universal self or selves having transcended physical existence, then realizing a greater non-physical self, may look to connect with it. This is opening the door, to allow a spiritual influence of the non-physical self. This self may have a greater range of perspective, know the future and greater destiny, and thus may act as better gage and guide for decision-making. This self may better be able to tap into creative powers otherwise known as the muse. Or this may not be thought of the self at all, but as connected directly to God, angels or spirit.
On the down-side, it could also be said that one loses things by adopting the state of Detachment. If one has the choice between the Singular Self and the Detached state, the Singular Self may feel like it would like to be able to do things on its own, without the aid of higher or spiritual power, and perhaps not feel so much like a dependent. Another difference may be the intensity in which living is perceived.
Also on the down-side one may not have the intensity of feeling that comes with complete belief, like the difference between real experience and television or movie dramas.
