No-one worked for the company store or was in debt to landlords. There was no money and no bankers but only barter, as something real for something real, like a stone tool traded for a leather shirt. In Japan before the invasion of the western capitalists, people could be rich and poor but they all lived in the same kind of houses from the outside, and riches were only displayed on the inside.

Of course Monotheistic Religion engenders and enforces tiered, hierarchal systems with God superiority to devil inferiority. Monotheism does not believe in Democracy and thus the principle of the separation of church and state. In fact people who identify themselves as racial-religious should not be allowed in democratic government. Monotheism is fascist as history attests, with millions murdered and cults of child molestation and even today, both crimes proceed apace with a US new-born Christian operating the war-crimes toppling of the legitimate government of Venezuela.

On the other-hand Polytheism is democratic. One can have all the other-dimensional spiritual beings one would want to their heart's content. Of course Indigenous polytheistics are portrayed as savage brutal and monstrous, unlike their progressive crown of creation industrial revolutionaries. And pagans like the Romans or Mayans were like that, but however they were themselves in reality Progressive, tiered and hierarchal and really no different than modern fascism. These modern progressives like to think how superior these modern peoples are to those barbarian Polytheists.

A comparative analogy is the Whole, wherein all Parts would be considered as equal to the Intrinsic Domain of the Whole, as each a manifestation of what the Whole consists, in a Unified Function.
