Multi-party systems are generally a mix of socialist and capitalist parties with some smaller fewer and single issue groups like the flat earth party. To get a majority of votes the parties quite often must make deals with each other. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.
The first premise of
Fascism is inequality. The first premise of Democracy is Equality. Fascism is the superior lording it over the inferior, the strong over the weak, rich over the poor, the educated over the uneducated, the sophisticated over the crude and so on. Capitalism is always sooner or later fascist because there is no equality in Capital where the object is to get rich over and above everybody else. Where it takes money to get elected to public office the Capitalists will always attempt to control the government for favorable legislation like less taxes and fewer regulations.
The very definition of Democracy would indicate a one to one relationship, as every vote should be equal to every other vote. Big-capitalists don't believe in democracy, as money is tiered of a less and more system. By the definition of Government which is Socialist, every individual of adult age, should receive Government services equally and get one vote, as well as by some formula contribute to the well-being of the Whole. Naturally big-capitalists hate Socialism though they don't even know what it is, because they hate equality.
