Symbolic Consciousness is the use of contexts such as statements or questions, or it can be roles or identities the individual assumes. Meaning may be found in almost anything and in any time or place. This meaning is derived from contexts that provide the manner of interpretation by the individual, for whatever happens in the reality of one's living. If ordinary reality is interpreted in the context of the mundane, as simply random events that are given no notice, credence or significance, then reality is commonplace and mediocre. On the other hand if what happens in the course of events is noticed and related to specific contexts as subjects, ordinary reality may become meaningful, significant and consequential, wherein the actuality of any given events or circumstances represents a symbolic reality. Any event or circumstance may be interpreted in many different ways and in particular construed in the mundane sense or symbolically.

Symbolic Consciousness means that any phenomenon, entity or event is not considered to possesses singular definitions and Finite Context but may take the form of symbols which may represent a variety of things. For instance if the context of ambient and random sounds are used by the individual as signals or comments, then thought, word or action, such as the wail of fire or ambulance sirens may be interpreted to indicate a warning to the individual that they have said to much, or may come in conjunction with some creative thought that one might otherwise ignore or give no credence. The context as a question might be created like, is one vulnerable to spiritually inspired harm ?
