And a character on the TV almost immediately answered correctly one's last name. How do they do it ? Thus this seemingly Metaphysical phenomenon would all be an illusion and coincidence, in which what would there be to learn ?
Discovering that one has other-dimensional capacities is to discover the Spiritual Plane, wherein it would be assumed that a different set of operating principles might be in order, and of what would this new consciousness consist ? Contact with the other side and thus one is more than-ever what-one thought. A new character is necessary and perhaps now it might be called an Ipseity, as a personification of other-dimensional objectives, or changes in this world that are manifested from another.
Metaphysical Ipseity
The old me as the Ego and some Identities, and the new me with the addition of, one or more Ipseities with extra-dimensional powers.
The materialist me as nobody and nothing, and the novice me a suddenly somebody of another Context, in which to interpret what one might never have imagined. One cannot walk thru walls and really nothing changes of the material world, as the body, Ego and Identities. But then there is this new vehicle of being, which believes it has extra-terrestrial powers. And of course this attitude can have devastating affects upon a person thinking they are an agent of God or some other-wordy which-what.
So this Ipseity grounded in the old self is best and no sudden moves.
However some new Identities would be in order as concerns the implications of this new found Context, such as a seeker of knowledge as they used to put it. If the Ipseity possesses the power of change then there becomes a need to know as how such facility should be used.
