Optimum Correspondence would also apply to the best operation of the Whole, which would not be Progressive, defined as producing a superior state or condition, but Conservative, wherein the Whole preserves itself in a same or similar manner and condition. Optimum Correspondence would be the optimum operation and function correspondent to that Whole.

The body is Conservative, while the mind may be Progressive. The body must preserve itself in fairly same and similar healthy self, preventative of unhealthy changes. The body is of a fixed and finite character and construct other than it grows and then declines, and continues as an entity by reproduction, all of which must correspond to the external planetary environment, preferably an Optimum Correspondence.
