If Association has Consequence attached, such as the memory of winning a lot of money, or of losing a loved one to an accident, then any present experience or thinking that produces these associations will probably be enhanced, and thus is termed Emotion.
Both Natural Affection and Emotion are integral aspects of
the human sensory response system. Natural Affection is fairly objective, in which sensory response is based on Association that contains content that more corresponds to actual events and experience as they are sensed. Natural Affection is subjective relative to the degree that the same stimuli are registered in a different manner by differing sensory systems, such as one may love the sun but another is sensitive such that it may make them feel depleted. Emotion and emotional response is subjective and relative to the individual's personal value system, as what is considered as Consequence. Emotion that is fairly objective, is such cases where most people could agree, on the nature of some particular Consequence such the desire to live.
Consequence is said to be affected by evaluative systems here as described as two : or
Optimum Correspondence of the Conservative Paradigm and which would be more compatible with Natural Affection, and the
Dyadic Authoritative Comparative of the Progressive Paradigm, said to be the controlling factor of Emotion.
Optimum Correspondence means every entity has an optimum condition such as optimum for humans is seventy degrees.
Evaluation is either optimum, or so many degrees more or less. The temperature was one-hundred degrees fahrenheit more, or thirty-two degrees as less. Optimum is generally taken for granted as Natural Affection, without much to-do. However more or less could be quite consequential and thus Emotion could come into play. The temperature fell precipitously while she was suitably dressed for summer wear as optimum thirty degrees warmer.
